I'm sure my situation is pretty generic, but I still could really use some help. Basically, there's a girl I really like, but don't know her. The only interaction I've ever had with her is when I had to critique her paper (we're in the same english class.) I think I told her it was really good, but that's beside the point. Where do I go from here?

No, and that's my number one concern right now. I really don't know her, so wouldn't it come off as creepy if some dude who had spoken to you once come up and start talking to you?

We really can't do much for ya, kid. Just start talking to girls more, and this sort of thing will come more naturally. Otherwise, unless she's as socially awkward and uninitiated as you are, you're not gonna be able to do anything to win her over.
