Staying in a Relationship
Most of my relationships tend to last only a few weeks or a month or two at the most. What would be some tips so I could make them last longer?
Thanks

Yeah, it's hard to work out what the problem is when you're that vague. Give us details and we'll try and help.

Sticking power. A real love and respect for that person.

Re: Staying in a Relationship
You and/or the other parties involved obviously don't mean that much to each other to keep it going.
You don't sit and think about it...It just happens with a compatible person.
Or someone you can't get rid of.

That's basically it.
Don't jump into random relationships unless you think they can last, if you want them to.

What's wrong with creepy and clingy?
I for one would love a guy to get puppy dog eyes sad whenever I left the room and send me adoring texts saying "miss you" 5 minutes after I've left.

You don't really represent the female population, though...

Re: Staying in a Relationship
really staying in relationships has been my speciality thus far after being like you for a year when i was in highschool.
theres a ton of things necessary to keeping a relationship alive. BUT the gyst of everything is that you have to be the bright light and she has to be the moth, at ALL times. that means never outstaying your welcome. Not being clingy as exile said. that means not always being the one to call her, not seeing her 2 days in a row etc. Always making everything you give her really damn good, but never enough. Another huge thing is that you dont let her get away with ANYTHING that a friend wouldnt get away with. that doesnt mean you treat her badly, ignore or her or anything of the sort, you just have to make yourself more of a treat rather than a constant thing by being scarce, and you have to establish yourself as someone she has to work for and not a doormat.
Whats important is that you realize that this REALLY applies to the first 3 months of a relationship, thats most often the crucial time period to determine if anything lasting is going to happen between you too. I mean the gyst of it is you need to be the exciting one, and always be on your toes.
if you check out articles by the guy "doc love"(google him/www.askmen.com) he talks about some similar stuff in maintaining a girls interest and whatnot. hes a bit chauvinist and a little too rough in some of his suggestions but for the most part its good stuff.
OH and dont talk to her everyday when your first starting to date, really avoid the phone if you can and if you must, limit conversations to just establishing dates etc,...speaking in person is far better.
good luck mate.

Re: Staying in a Relationship
blah blah blah. lots of words..
I'd get annoyed with that and end it. Not all girls are the same way, it depends on what one you've snagged.

Re: Staying in a Relationship
as a rule of thumb the more availible and confident she is in your feelings early in the game the less attractive you seem to be.
Sure, there are loads of different circumstances but we're all fucking human. and whats easy to get is usually not that exciting, pretty universal...the way i see things.
