But you can definitely get compensation for your injury without paying a penny for representation, there are a LOT of companies out there who will do just about everything for you. Give it some time dude. When I was a kid I got my armed mauled by a dog and couldn't use it to do much of anything for well over a year and a half. I've talked with people who have facial deformities that make it impossible for them to carry on with normal social behavior. I've met a father who accidentally burned his infant child with chemical cleaner so that the baby was infernal and badly scarred across its entire body. Even one of my good friends had surgical equipment malfunction on his face leaving him with a scar that looks like skin from the corner of his mouth connects with his bottom eyelid.

I don't know the exact situation but from your description I am going to assume the worst.

It must be incredibly painful (physically and emotionally) to have and injury such as that. I, and most of the people commenting cannot imagine the difficulties that come with such a wound. However you are also fortunate because no one will ever have to see your penis until you are ready, so you can still have a fairly normal life. Yet becoming ready is also a difficult task in itself and it will require work and motivation on your part especially if you don't feel comfortable talking with a therapist.

I do think that it is very important to talk about this issue with someone and I know this can be very hard but if you have a family member, friend, or some type of counselor that would be open to it you should defiantly discuss the issue with him or her. I think it's great that you can talk about this with Totse, but as you can see this might not be the best place to find people who respect and listen to you. If you don't know of anyone that would be good to talk with, there are many "hotlines" that will talk with you and help you. How old are you? If you Google search Youth Yellow Pages there are many help lines that you can talk with and who will help you with your problem.

I don't know about what options you are open to, but as I see it, if you want to become comfortable with your penis you need to made efforts to change.

-I'm no expert in cosmetic surgery but it seems like that could be one option. You could make it a priority to raise the money for a surgery and make it a personal goal to raise enough money to repair you penis. Others have suggested taking legal action, maybe that could be a possibility (against the person why caused the accident or the insurance company). Try contacting some of the sites mentioned earlier about the accident. If you have a job you could try to get enough money to pay for the operation. You might even be able to get some sort of government check or handicapped license but I am not sure about that.

have therapists that work on a sliding scale so you only have to pay what you can afford. Again I want to emphasis that keeping this stress bottled up will only make you feel worse. It is very important to talk with someone about the problem.

You can still have friends, go out be social, and even be in a romantic relationship to a certain point. It seems like you don't have a huge problem with women if you broke ones hand just to keep her out of your pants :). Just make sure you talk to them about your boundaries. You can even tell them "I just don't want to do anything relating to my dick. Ever". If you choose to do this it is still important to talk with someone so that you wont let anxiety about your penis affect your life. Self help books have helped me build confidence and they may help you also.

I know this must be a very difficult situation for you but it is important to try and stay positive and active in improving your self. Nothing will get done if you don’t try anything. Your situation can get better but it will require you to work hard and step out of your comfort zone. This is just like any other problem it can be fixed.
