Default "Broke up with awesome partner, wanted to fool around."

So I'm just curious about this hypothetical situation.

What happens to people who give up their significant others, because they need to run their horns off?

Do they realize it was a bad fucking idea, should've stayed with their partner? Or do they get what they need?

Anyone with stories, experience?

If someone did that, I'd be glad that they realised the partner they chucked was awesome, and I hope they writhe with sadness and guilt and really hate themselves for chucking something so good away.

There is really not a lot of excuse for that. Might seem like a good idea at the time, but it's stupid and we all know it.

Think with the larger of your two heads.

yoyobek hit it spot-on...

I loved my last girlfriend more than anything. We were together for almost three years before some immature part of me decided that I should break up with her to "play the field". Well, I did it. She cried, I cried. She waited around for me for the next few months with hope that we could somehow get back together and make it work, I however stuck with my decision.

Well it's been about a year now...she's found a new love, looks forward to spending the rest of her life with him and is happier than ever. Me? I haven't even gotten laid since, feel more deprived than I ever have in my life and overall, am beginning to doubt that I'll ever find someone as special as she was.

Those of you who have real love damn well know it, don't ever fucking let it go

Dude that's a bummer.

You be patient though, I'm sure your turn will come as well.

Kinda amusing how you haven't gotten laid yet though :D
