Hi everyone! I've known this girl for a month now, and last week she broke up her relationship with someone. Prior to that I only see her during class/and before and after times. Ever since then she's single and we've been talking more on IM whenever she's online. She also asked me to go to the movies on a couple occasions but it was very idiotic of me to decline! (lunch movies). So the only place we see each other more than often is in school. I feel like I have a little chance but I don't want to be the "rebound guy" if I do it now.

I was wondering from the totseans who's had the same experience, how long until I can ask her so I don't come off as the rebound guy because she'll always be comparing me to her ex when that happens :(. Also since I declined her invitations to go out a couple times, am I screwed? Maybe an eye for an eye? I said no and she'll say no :(... I have no idea what to do but I know for sure that I will ask her now or never... or someone else asks before me. I appreciate any/all advice and comments everyone!

Okay buddy, she's showing a bit of interest in you, but you've by no means got the cat in the bag so to speak.

You've got to keep her enticed, but don't give everything on a plate, little things slowely but surely, and yes to hell with your concerns! Take her to the god damn movies, and be cool with it.

Let's stick with the cat analogy. It's like teasing a cat with string, if you flop the string down in front of it, it loses interest, if you place it near the cat and give it a few pulls, it goes straight for the string!

Same applies to Women, don't go rushing into this one, just give her tidbits and keep her coming back for more! As far as declining her invitations, you could be sweet as mate. Is she vindictive? You're best bet is to ask her to the movies, either way it will be a gauge of her interest. Even if she says no, this could be a test of how much you like her, be persistant, but keep it casual.

Ahhh i went and put out game on a girl like within a week or so after she broke up with her guy, and we talked alot on the phone and she never mentioned her ex but once, and thats when i asked what his name was...and why she broke up with him..That was all i ever heard from that shit, and she was real desperate(in good way)

Don't worry about the rebound guy thing dude...Just get with her, be yourself and give it some time.
