My cliche, fucked up situation (Long)
Okay, so I've really liked this particular girl for quite a while now. She was fairly into me I guess, and we were always kind of flirty.
One day we decide to skip a day of school, and we end up back at my house. We were just kind of doing nothing, and we ended up making out for most of the day.
The next couple days she was fairly friendly, but something was obviously wrong as she stopped showing nearly as much affection. On the day I was planning to ask her out, she told me that she "doesn't do relationships" and that she "never likes people in the same way". So I asked her where she ultimately thought things were going, and she said "we'll see", which I took as she wanted to pursue some kind of relationship.
I got fairly depressed after that, and couldn't really stand to be around her much. Eventually I got over it and pulled her aside when we were out at a party.
I told her I felt a connection with her, and she said that she felt it too. I asked her, once again, what she wanted to do. She replied that she "wants to be free, but we'll see where it goes".
So after this I somewhat resign myself to just being friends with her. We get along pretty well, and nothing really happens, although she hooks up with at least one other guy during this time, whilst I turn down another girl's advances (which she knew about).
So last Friday, I invite her to this party. She had two E pills, and I offered to buy one from her. We're wandering around this city at night, just talking and doing nothing interesting, before taking our pills. Eventually we're peaking, and just running around singing and doing stupid shit.
We end up not being able to keep our hands off each other, and just making out and me telling her how I feel. She seemed to reciprocate quite a lot, at one point telling me to yell out that I loved her as loud as I could (would've been retarded if we were sober).
As the night progresses, she seems to become less and less social as she comes down off the E. We end up going for a walk later on at night to get something to eat, and I could tell something was bugging her. I asked her about it a couple of times, and she eventually said "I only like you as a friend".
So right then I'm pretty pissed. I pull her aside and basically ask her why she jerked me around and fucked with my head, even when she was totally sober. She said "I was still trying to make up my mind", which seemed like a pretty poor excuse to me.
She keeps saying that she "can't talk about this right now", and asks "why aren't you upset?". I tell her that I'm very upset (I tend to repress my emotions sometimes), and ask why she wants me to be upset. She says that she doesn't.
She eventually tells me that I'm not her friend, and I need to start acting like one. Felt like being kicked while I was down. I told her we would talk later, and she walked off.
The rest of the night she makes eyes at this other guy she fucked once, and I pretty much totally ignore her. She tries to make small talk in the morning, but I brush her off.
Later on in the weekend, she texts me saying that she's sorry about how the night ended and she didn't mean for it to happen like that. I text her back saying that of course she meant for it to end like that, and I couldn't handle her being so bipolar toward me.
We pretty much haven't spoken since, although I did apologise if I upset her by calling her bipolar. I still really like the girl, and have no idea what the fuck she's thinking. I know I should just get over her as soon as possible and move on, but it's pretty gutwrenching at this point.
Advice?

Shes bipolar like you said
Cut off all ties with her now
Or it seems like shes keeping you around for some sort of boytoy.
I'm completly stumped on what shes trying to do but it has to be one of the two things i've said.

You should move the fuck on and stop dreaming about her pussy. theres plenty of other women out there.
Chicks like that dont know what the fuck they want, its better to just move on and find other pussy until they have time to grow the fuck up!

I've kind of been thinking the same way, thanks.
I'm planning to go and fuck the ever loving shit out of the chick that was hitting on me whilst I was chasing that pussy. And extra plus is that it will probably piss her off a lot.

You're being an idiot. And a shitty friend. She's trying to let you down easy and you keep pestering her like some stupid little kid. It's not cliche, she's NOT leading you on--you're just being dense. Be her friend for a while. Go with it.

He's right, you had your chance to escalate with all that makin out that was going on. You didn't though, so she thinks you don't have any balls.
Now? go and fuck the shit out of the chick who was moving on you and shift your attention to her. You'll drive the other girl crazy and get laid, it's a win-win.

I agree with these people. Cut your losses, stop messing about with psycho girl and go fornicate with the one that appreciates you.

Re: My cliche, fucked up situation (Long)
A lot of these replies have been fucking stupid, but a few have contained pretty good snippets of thoughts/advice.
Obviously it's hard to entirely judge her by your story. She's not crazy, and she knows what she wants... which is either a) just friendship and you've misread signs as one user has suggested, or - the more likely in my opinion - b) to have your attention and the knowledge that if she wants you, you're there. Pretty much every girl, even the really nice ones, take comfort from the knowledge that someone out there wants them and desires them. Chances are to her, you were that someone.
Your chances with her are pretty fucked. As someone has already said, your one big chance was when you were first making out with her, and you blew it. If you had been more forward and pushed for more at that time, she'd think of you as more of a man's man and it would have stood you in better stead for getting somewhere with her.
There is a difference between being needy and simply going for what you want. I've read that after making good eye-contact with a girl, you should try to talk to her ASAP as it gives the subconscious impression that you are a man, you know what you want and you have the confidence in yourself to go right out and get it. If you had pushed further, sooner (i.e. made a bigger move when you were first making out with her) then she might have sensed a certain air of confidence and manliness around you that would have made you attractive enough to her to be with.
I'd say your best chance now is to ignore it all for a while (though if she asks, just say you've been busy and act like you don't care about her rejection etc), take what you can with other girls and exude self-confidence around her. If you ever get any sort of opening with her again, be FORWARD and TAKE IT.

end of discussion right there. Guys sit here thinking oh this girl was just fucking with me, she left me and just started ignoring me. Well what did you do? We went out and she was vibing me, we mostly just talked about random stuff, she was touching me and smiling alot. did you do anything? NO!. Well theres ur fucking sign, you gotta act on the moment, if u dont girls will give up, some quick and others will try a few more times. If you dont make the move theyll know that somethings wrong....You cant be nice all the time thinking to respect a girl, she gets that shit 24/7 being that shes a female in the fucking first place.
How do i know this shit? IDK maybe cause i had the exact shit happen to me, i have fucking seen the reality behind the not making a move situation, witnessed it first hand... the girl will desert your ass no questions asked. I made a thread about it a while ago. Guys need to fucking REALIZE its not her its YOU. You fucked up somewhere along the line more than likely, unless you miss interpreted a girl being nice to you as a potential GF thinking she has interest in you so your trying all this shit and its not working.

You missed your chance, and you've been dragging it out and dragging yourself through shit with a chick who's not interested in you, and you're just hurting yourself. Quit getting fucked, give it up, and cut off contact, it's doing you NO good in the least.

Re: My cliche, fucked up situation (Long)
This advice has actually been quite good. I sort of suspected that she was kind of let down when I didn't make a bigger move on her.
I haven't spoken to her in a few days, and I hear she's pissed that I've been ignoring her or whatever. At least I've learned something from the experience, and it shouldn't happen again.
