Um let me see you have know the girl for a decently long time, hang out all the time but still haven't fucked.

I cant put a clear explanation on it, but your not in that enclosed circle where you talk about each other directly.That and if you call this chick or try to make plans with her thinking that your more than a friend she'll deny you or say ill call you back such and such. Ahhh she'll dip out on you like nothing if ur hanging around her, since your nothing more than a friend to her.

*You've known each other for a really long time, but haven't fucked.

*She mentions her ex-boyfriend excessively.

*You call her asking to do something, and she gives you an obviously made-up excuse not to (because she's with her real boyfriend that day)

*Sex comes up in your conversations routinely, but you never do anything about it.

*You can go weeks without contact and she won't do anything about it. Seriously, I tried this once and it went three months before we ran into each other again, and she never bothered to call.

Yeah, this has happened to me. I don't trust any women now.

I call bullshit on this friend zone thing. No such thing. If the girl likes you enough to be that close of a friend, you are this || far away from being more than a friend. All of my best friends are female. 95% of whom I have had a "thing" with, which usually ends up in things settling down between us, we pretend it never happened, but still flirt a little on occasion, whether or not we mean to. Always goes friend => more than friend => really close friend. A couple said friends would be willing to be with me still, seeing as I wasn't currently with someone.

Show the girl you like her, if she doesn't like you back, she never did/would have anyways. If you think you may have missed your chance, you never had one.

Well, some people can't. Some people aren't willing to convince the girl to evaluate you in a different way.

- Does she re initiate conversation when you're quiet?

If you're not getting any of this sorta thing then i'd say you've progressed past the point of no return into friendship county. If you're not receiving any indications of interest - IoI's then it's just about game-over, as far as scoring with this broad is concerned.
