I've got a girl who's really into me and has been for a while... I know her fairly well, but I don't really hang out with her all that much.

I know and some of her friends have told her that it isn't going to happen. Problem is, I want to be friends and talk and just be regular but I want her to get over me and I'm not sure if talking to her regularly will help that situation out.

How should I act towards her?

Im actually in a similar situation at the moment and i found the best way to deal with it is just to be straight up, get her alone tell her you really value her friendship but you dont have feelings for her blah blah... and then just give her some time and 90% of the time things will return to as they were.

But a word of warning dont get drunk and decide to sleep with her it makes the whole let her down gentle thing a little bit harder..

talk to her bout guys she might like and girls you like so she gets the idea you're just friends
