My "friends" consist of a bunch of mostly intelligent, semi-geeky bunch. We've been in a sort of clique for awhile. Unfortunately, some of them have become pussywhipped. One of my really good friends basically only hangs out with this one girl now, who already has a boyfriend. I already told him multiple times about how he's pussywhipped and whatnot, after subtly mentioning it, but even the brute force hasn't convinced him. He's really convinced this girl likes him, but unfortunately, it's only as a friend. He basically NEVER talks to girls though, so it's his only contact. But he has stopped all communication with our group, essentially.

Is there anyway to confront this or will it settle itself out and he'll learn? Am I being a 'control' freak? Others in the group have said the same thing, but I know he's just wasting his time! I've seen how she treats him.

Anyways, feedback appreciated on your experiences with this type of thing and how I'm an asshole/control freak.

Work out your legs for 2 weeks. Seriously. Run laps, do squats, go to the gym and use every leg machiene. Drink protein shakes, and basically work out your legs as much as you can for 2-3 weeks.

This thread is making me really depressed now. Today, I pointed it out to him more and then he claims he's doing shit with her(he's never even kissed before) and I call bullshit, but he doesn't go into detail or anything.

I never thought I'd say this, but I feel betrayed, almost. Most kids in my clique were basically socially akward, and I helped them out/sorted them out, however egotistical that sounds. I introduced them to lots of people and whatnot. Reminds me of Frankenstein, or Peter Pan or some shit. I just feel really, really betrayed.
