Default The reason she cheated on me...

So I had a talk with my ex and she said she got with me because she was curious, but once she was with me she felt trapped. I'm self destructive, and when she'd leave I'd do a shitload of drugs. So she stuck around and had another boyfriend on the side.

Shit luck.

Is it a common occurrence for people to stay with others because they're afraid of what they'll do if they leave?

I'd say so.. A good friend of mine felt that way about his girlfriend. Then there are the type that don't want to leave because they're are afraid of being lonely. Take your pick.

Why are you going anywhere near that cow?
And why do you care so much about what she says?
You're kinda in a vulnerable position, she could say anything that could really hurt you and you may well beleive it

Hahaha, naaaaah she can't hurt me any more. I became almost best friends with the dude she was cheating on me with and found out all the nasty lies and deception. Now I'm completely numbed to cheating. My new girlfriend, after around 3-4 months, who I'm in love with is in another state at the moment and could cheat on me at any time, the catch? I seriously don't care. As long as I don't have to hear about it, find out about it, or anything of the sort, it's all fair game. Just keep clean and use protection.

I care about what she says because she was my best friend for about a year and my first girlfriend.

And lastly the reason I went near her is because I pin my hope on humanity in her, the idea that people CAN change, and that we're not stuck. I'm an idealist.

Cheating can only hurt you if you find out about it. The illusion of bliss is just as good as the real thing. My new philosophy. Dwell less, shrug shit off.

I've sometimes thought about this. If you were in a relationship, but maybe were bored sexually or whatever, and cheating would make you happier in the relationship (thus making your partner happier as well), is it really that bad? If it just means the both of you will be happier...

Not that I've ever cheated or ever intend to do so. Just a thought.

I think it happens alot. My friend is absolutely gorgeous, and the sweetest, most down to eath girl on the planet. She always has men chasing her, and the ones that are persistant enough so that she ends up dating them - they always end up being needy, clingy, they get suicidal if they think she's being distant. She just doesn't have the heart to leave the. The last one she actually did cheat on - with a boy that she'd actually fell for instead of vice-versa. She still can't leave her current boyfriend though, she couldn't bear if he hurt himself.

And marty that bitch was motherfucking whack. I mean you're pretty whack too but she's even worse. Pin nothing on her. that would be like one jenga tower trying to put something on another jenga tower, and you know what? I reckon she secretly likes playing jenga and losing.

Fo' real.

I don't approve of your "if she cheats on me, its fine as long as I don't hear about it" philosophy.

Revenge ftw.

My ex cheated on me, but still really really liked me. She was crying when I found out. She cried for ages because we broke up. Then I fucked her again, then I went and fucked her cousin on the same night. She cried for another few days after that. Owned

This happened to people I know before. I'm not friends with them or anything, I just know the story.

He said that if they ever broke up he's end up killing himself. It was most likely just a ploy so she wouldn't break up with him. But he did cut himself so maybe it wasn't (probably still was). Anyway his plan worked and they were together for months. So instead of breaking up with him she cheated on him for a while, he was the last person to find out about it. When she dumped him eventually she seemed more upset about that he was.

THE END

You shouldn't trap people in relationships. That just ends up with everybody being unhappy.

Arquin.... I like you.

But I'm pretty sure that the next step is that you become ok if you find out about it, and realize that monogamy does not a relationship make. Then everything gets all sorts of f*cked up. But its fun this way.

I told my last gf "I don't care if you lie to me. Really. Just don't *ever* let me find out."
