Default Living together?

Ok, so, by december my folks are moving out of the country. I decided that no way in hell I am. I have a good job, school, my girlfriend and all my friends. So, I'm looking for shared apartments/hotels/college residences/etc..
Now, my girlfriend has been having problems at her house. She shares a house with 3 friends and their mother. They always have on and off fights(4 girls in the same house), but this time the mother crossed the line and said some things she shouldn't have said. So, now she's looking for a place also.

I've been going out with her for around 6-7 months now and everyday our relationship seems to get stronger. I've been thinking, what if we move together? Rent an apartment together and split the costs? We would see each other more and economically its win/win.
The thing is that I'm a bit afraid to ask her. Moving out on my own was already a pretty big step(not THAT big), but moving out and going to live with my GF seems a bit bigger.

I guess I'm a bit afraid of rejection, that awkward silence and then maybe a stupid joke on my part to change the subject...
We both complain(not to anyone in specific) that it sucks how little we see each other. We see each other 3-4 times a week.Tops. Moving in would mean that we could see each other EVERY day, sleep together, have our privacy and grow as partners.
Then there's the other thing. What happens if we have a big fight and someone decides to split up? We'd have to look for a place again...

Idk, its an idea stuck on the back of my head that I can't seem to get rid of. I guess the only solution is to talk it out with her, without proposing anything.

What do you think S&A?
Too soon? Too risky? Suck it up and ask?

EDIT: I'm 19 and shes 23, btw.

Noooooooooooooooooooooo!!

It may be a good idea when you've gotten to know her better, but right now? No fucking way.

you may wake up one day having learnt a load of things you havent yet about your girlfriend, and realise you fucking hate her...but you're stuck with her..

Best advice I can think of is to not move in together, at least not 'officially'.

Get your own place and just have her over for a few days/nights a week and trial it from there. Being a strong couple in seperate houses is a completely different ballgame to making it work when you're under the same roof 24/7.

Maybe I'm just weary because I've had a few relationships go south once we decided it was a good idea to move in together, but I really wouldn't recommend commiting to the idea until you've had a chance to give it a decent stab at 'try before you buy'.

Yeah see if you can deal with her leaving her dirty underpants all over the floor 3 nights a week before you take it on full time.

Yeah.
I'm being a bit hypocrital here.
One of my friends is moving with her boyfriend to live together after only being together 3 months. We all told her that it isn't a good idea and that when you live together things change.

I guess I should shut up and take my own advice.

I think I should just wait it out a bit longer. There's no hurry.

Sorry to go off topic, but I've just wondered, what's it like in Argentina at the moment? Any decent(-paying) jobs available?

Any specific field in mind?

Plus you have to take into account that with exchange rates and the current economics things are very diffferent, so its hard for me to say.

Sybil came here from Belgium not too long ago. Working for EA games, getting payed 2300 a month and he says that its alot more than what he got in belgium.
2300 is around 780 US dollars. But then again, everything is in pesos and most things are cheaper here(except inported things).

So, idk, if your english is good and you have some decent studies you have alot of jobs.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder....are you share you want to wake up with her everyday?

It's probably just me though. The idea of living with someone scares the hell out of me.

PS: Do you follow the rugby by any chance? Pumas are cleaning up!

Yeah, I know... Its a tad scary, but everytime we sleep together we dont want that to end... we miss each other horribly...
But Ill wait, we'll see where things go...

And yeah, of course I'm following it :D
We're doing great, but you know, the All Blacks are pretty hard to beat... lets hope we dont have to play against them :(

You should really hold off on the moving in together bit. In my opinion, from experience, you need a lot more time, not just to get to know each other better, but more importantly in this situation, to be able to tolerate living with each other. I'm not saying that your relationship is bad or anything, that's just how it seems to be. You move in together too early, and you haven't quite noticed or care about certain things your significant other does that really irritates you, but over time it will, and will usually get worse. That's not the only factor, but it is a big one.

So yeah, get your own place for awhile. Get the whole "living on your own, away from your parents" thing down first, then slowly see if she wants to spend the night more and more often, then take it from there. Good luck man.
