On approaching crushes.
in the last 3 months ive had 3 girls that have been infatutated with me. however it really crashes and burns whenever we start talking for extended periods of time...i didnt really think my personality was that bad, but everytime it just turns into a mess within the first 20 minutes of talking.
its been a really fucking long time since ive had to do this, but my general strategy has been not to say much or if im am talking im asking questions and not really saying too much about myself...everyone loves to talk about themselves. though i honestly cant figure out what the fuck im messing up on.
anyway its a general problem so i dont think i could specifically pinpoint something im doing wrong, but i would love to hear from anyone who has some sortof of a better idea on how to approach the situtation.

Re: On approaching crushes.
I don't really know what to say. Flirt more? Asking questions is good but a conversation has to be two-sided.
Do you listen well?

Listen well. But don't listen long, find yourself an excuse to leave when you think her interest in talking to you has peaked and is starting to drop off.

Re: On approaching crushes.
start your talking to them in like small batchesss.
the first time, make it twenty, then make it a quick five minute thing, then maybe twenty, then half an hour, then ten minutes.
i find it wayyy more comfrotable and easier talking to new people like that

Re: On approaching crushes.
Well firstly, talk to everyone you know, but make a constant effort to be witty and entertaining. It can get real tiresome but after a while you will get much better at conversation. Trust me, it's worth it.

That site helped me a lot. I had the same problem you had, as in a noticed a girl keep looking at me so we talked at lunch time and stuff (yes I'm a student, ignore how juvenile it sounds) and then she lost interest just become I freaked out and thought of dumb stuff to talk about.

Re: On approaching crushes.
Unless you have a connection to them, don't.
People who "have a crush on you" will be scared off by your insecurities (demonstrated by how much you rely on totse).
If you can keep them interested in you with your sex appeal and conversation, you're golden.
Don't yearn what you can't take.
