I'm not sure. If my mum was visiting me, to be sure I'd want to respect her. Sure, it's my home, but she'd have every righ to be upset if she wandered into the kitchen area to find me snorting meth off the back of a ...guinea pig?

When you have guests you dont have to change your lifestyle utterly to suit them but a degree of respect is nescessary in things that they dont feel comfortable with.

Why am I so mean about this topic? Because its fuckwits like Zek that are dragging society into the toilet. Stupid and emotionally unstable people pumping out kids, and the general populace will suffer because of it. Have you actually followed this saga? What do you think is a realistic chance these kids will turn out even somewhat normal? Bascially, they are raising the next generation of bumbling misfits. And its normal folks like you and me that will be affected by it. Maybe its our taxes having to pay for yet another welfare case. Or you are walking to your car, and that loser kid all grown up jumps out of the shadows to rob you at gunpoint. Yes, their lousy parenting SHOULD be held accountable.....and the prices we'll all have to pay for these nitwits that call themselves "parents" are countless.

What about good and decent folks that are unable to have children? Or worse yet, those that have had kids and lose them to some horrible tragedy or sickness? Yet losers like Zek have perfectly healthy children, and all the while he completely takes them for granted. He doesn't even have a semblance of a clue at the blessings that are right there in his house, and instead goes online to bitch about petty whines and his "depression".

Why am I mean towards Zek? Because his entire existence is a complete farce, and a burden to society. The ONLY purpose he serves is giving us Totseans some lulz from time to time. Beyond that he is just a wasting bag of skin breathing our air, and creating just more problems for this society. And sadly even if he were to huff that Raid and died today, he has done so much damage to his kids with his assinine parenting.....we would still be left with his problems that he created. It's common round here to see girls in their teens with multiple kids. Teenage girls who smoke and get drunk, around the kids,and then whine to the job center that they 'ent got enuff money to live on'. So the government hands out yet more money to these people, these sad worthless people who do nothing with their lives except breed and dont want to do anything with their lives except breed.
THOSE are the people making our CouncilTax so high, those are the people making society crumble. In a world where it's so easy to leech off the government, it's these sad fuckers who are making life so hard for others, not people like Zek and his wife who are atleast attempting to better themselves.



I know it's hard to sort shit out. 3 years back I was a psychotic bulimarexic living in my mums spare room and wasting my life tweaking and drawing angst ridden pictures on any available surface. It was hard to sort stuff out, I'm not bragging, I'm not exactly a nice or even decent human being now, but atleast I no longer drag other people down with me in my selfish actions, I no longer expect or need to be carried.
It takes time to get better. I feel that both these people have great potential, a little patience is vital.

Daguru, I'm with t3h Yoyobek on this one. Zek is a fuckup , we know this and to be frank HE knows it too. But his wife is very level headed and thats all kids need..one half way sane parent.

I know this from personal experience. The only thing besides the basic physical needs that kids need to grow up and make good is loveor , at least, parents who'd kill to keep them safe. Sounds trite I know but its true.

And again I tell you from personal experience, kids with really fucked up parents can grow up to be really well rounded individuals.

I like to think that I love my kids and won't let what happened to me happen to them. Wishful thinking, but not without action.

Jack, you are absolutely right......in the grand scheme of the universe no matter what genes or environment someone has....just about anything is possible. I certainly would like to believe that, and that our existence isn't just some puppet show we are playing out for our inevitable destiny.

But there are a couple important points here. The first being is that a kids mind is an absolute sponge the first 4 or 5 years, and the most important developmental time in their lives. And most kids DO grow up emulating their same sex parent. Constantly observing mannerims, behaviors, demeanor......we as parents are setting the example at how you "go about" life. It may be something as simplistic as to the way we walk, or so paramount to sharing the same political idealogies.....but the point is we have such a profound impact on them, that on many levels we ARE molding them into tomorrow's adults. I guess the big difference at this point, is you are talking about POSSIBLITY while I'm talking about PROBABILITY. There is a huge difference there.

In the interest of fairness in exposing one of my parenting "mistakes" I'll recount something that just happened this weekend....and it might prove my point even moreso. Who knows, maybe some folks will get some lulz out of this story. The wife took our 4 year old to the library just this past Saturday. They had a grand re-opening after being closed for almost a year for renovations. There were all kinds of things going on, craft tables, book tables, face painting.....a lot of things the kids were enjoying.

The only mistake Mommy made was taking him to this after his swim class and before his nap, because he wasn't exactly on his best behavior and was tired. He was having a great time, until they found this one area where they had to wait for whatever thing was going to happen at whatever appointed time in a few minutes. So they sat down and waited for a few minutes, and my son was lucky enough to find one of his classmates he goes to pre-school with. So my wife makes time chatting with her mommy, and everything is going great......until our son was fed up with the bordeom of waiting a few minutes more.

Now before I tell you what my son did, I'd like any parent that had a kid that age to imagine what their child would have done. Fidgeted? Whined? Asked to go to the potty as a diversion? Start acting up and playing silly with other kids? Rifle through Mommy's purse to get her attention? Better yet, how do you think a 4 year old son raised by Zek would have acted being bored sitting in that chair? Most importantly.....if you think you have an idea about MY personality, any ideas on what my son would do? A kid raised by someone assertive, with a no bullshit approach to life...that pretty much tells it how it is?

Well.... he quite loudly and matter-of-factly looks up at my wife and says....."Mommy, lets get the hell out of here!"

As you can imagine, the wife was somewhat embarrased (of course they did leave) and we both joked how its doubtful that the other mommy will be calling us to be setting up a playdate or inviting my kid to a birthday party any time soon. And while I do understand the inappropriateness of his verbiage and actions in that scenario (as well as give him a good talking to about it).......I can't be anything but incredibly proud of him. He was in an uncomfortable situation that he didn't find tolerable. He wanted to leave, and he didn't pussyfoot around his desire to do so. He didn't play some game, or leave hints....he just said it point blank...."Let's go" and added some colorful dialogue to make that point. Remind you of anyone?
