Default Griefstricken and in tears

My g/f of one year announced she is moving a 10 hour drive away to be with her family. I have been absolutely in tears for 72 hours off and on.

At 47 years old I ought to be able to take this better.

Let it die and get out of my mind
We don't see eye to eye
Or hear ear to ear

Don't you wish that we could forget that kiss
And see this for what it is
That we're not in love

The saddest part of a broken heart
Isn't the ending so much as the start

It was hard to tell just how I felt
To not recognize myself
I started to fade away

And after all it won't take long to fall in love
Now I know what I don't want
I learned that with you

The saddest part of a broken heart
Isn't the ending so much as the start
The tragedy starts from the very first spark
Losing your mind for the sake of your heart
The saddest part of a broken heart
Isn't the ending so much as the start

I'm sorry mate. It's the toughest thing in the world loosing someone you care about. My, now ex-, girlfriend moved a good 800+ miles away from me about a month ago. First girl to love me, it's hard to imagine how different it could have been. :(

Are you two going to try and make it work? You're 47, can you follow her?

If you really loved her, you would to whatever it takes to be with her.

You dont love her. You just love her strap-on vibrating cock in your ass.

Maybe she's really just trying to get away from him and knows he doesn't have the balls to leave what's comfortable behind.

Interesting theory.

Considering OP is a pussy, you might be on to something.

harden up eh?

My boyfriend and i were 800 km's away from each other.
and we did it for 2 years.

mindue he was cheating for a fair whack of it..
But if she loves you and you love her, you can make it work.

it's not the end of the world, or the relationship.

Then either move with her, or if that's not an option, accept that she doesn't feel about you the same way you feel about her. You can't make someone love you, and relationships need two people to work so if she doesn't care about you as much as you care about her then you're fighting a losing battle anyway.
