so i just realized it's not going to work out
If any of you read my previous thread, there was this girl that I was really really in love with and I didn't know how she felt back because we've spent a good 4 months apart from each other. Well, I slept on her roof with her last night. We just smoked cigarettes and talked. She's been having sex with some guy who apparently smells just like me. She made few to no attempts to be physically buried in me like she used to, wasn't very intimate, and said that she doesn't want a relationship with anyone.
I'm trying to think back to the last time I was rejected and it was probably in the 9th grade or something. I don't really know what to do. I was a little bit hurt, but also relieved to know how she felt. Being around her makes me craaave her, so I'm thinking I should limit how often I see her? Perhaps break off communication a little bit, give both of us some space? She's honestly the type of girl I'm just going to like regardless of anything for the next year at least. I'm still hoping that someday it'll work out, but I'm trying to teach myself to give up hope. Haha yes. My hopes are too high. I'm still expecting something to happen, but it's also tearing me apart and making me antisocial with other ladies. Should I work on my discipline and break off from her? That's healthy right? Not necessarily the most mature decision I could make, but it's honestly extremely painful to have to be around her and know that she doesn't want me as anything more than a friend.
What to do!?

It sounds like you've got it right. Fucking tough stuff, but staying away from her might be your best bet at sanity.
If at some point you find yourself able to have a friendship with her then by all means.

Re: so i just realized it's not going to work out
That's all well and good, but it doesn't look like you realized anything at all, does it?
It would be closer to the truth to say that you were told that it's not going to work out.
It's ok, the learning process takes many forms, but credit where credit is due, man.

Re: so i just realized it's not going to work out
I think you've got the right idea with distancing yourself from her, because being around her will make you want her more. Then again, I'm going through crap too, so maybe I'm not in the position to give advice.
One thing I can tell you though is that it's going to suck no matter what. Some things can only be healed with time, unfortunately. Good luck.

Stay away from her and go find another chick...Sooner or later she'll mean nothing to you and all will be better with the world.
