No! Bad 911! Very bad 911!

No getting married before you turn 25.

Sometimes love really is not enough. If the future plans you two share are not what the other wants then it really is a waste of time for both of you. Have you tried to explain this to her? Is she complaining about you not wanting to settle down or is this just your own thoughts on the situation?

That's the kind of thinking I like.

Take my sister for example, she is 23, has had a architect boyfriend (who's around 30) for about 5-6 years, she's a college grad, but still won't settle down. She's just a tad to young, and it would mess up her professional life.

Melissakittie, yeah we have breifly chatted about it (as you can imagine it's not the easiest topic) and she acknowledged that it is an issue. She is not pressuring me at all, but it is becoming something to think about.

Well if you are both concerned then maybe ending the relationship is the best thing. I'm not trying to be a dick and say this because I know it's hard. Love is a wicked little thing that has a way of twisting the world around and making you do what it wants. But right now you have to think about it. Say you stay together and something does happen. Say she gets pregnant and you're stuck with a responsibility. Relationships/fucking in general have to be handled carefully because there are a lot of repercussions to your actions. And I'm not bitching but I got married way young like 19 and while I do not regret the person (even though it ended horribly) I feel that I gave up a lot of my youth. You have all the time in the world to settle down. Have fun and follow what YOU want to do.
