Some people were discussing an individual seeming like a troll with two accounts in my forum. Call me stupid, but I can't figure out how to view IPs with the new software.

Can someone explain it to me, please?

Post the usernames, I'm sure one of the supers will look into it.

It's a shame really. I'm sure we all know of Trolls and their suspected second,third, fourth and fith accounts.
and I dunno..but I'd feel kind of bad swamping a supermod with my constant suspicions. It would be good if we could use this function ourselves.
Ofcourse it's a function that could only be used by trustworthy people, but isnt that why we're mods?

Yes, it's disabled for regular moderators. If you do suspect someone of having two accounts, let me, mlor, or acidmelt know and we'll check it out. I don't know exactly why Jeff doesn't want mods to view IP's but that's what he said.

Thanks for the replies. I'll wait for further evidence before I bother anybody with it. People in lab tips tend to get geeked out and start spouting random things sometimes, anyway.
