How to deny her gently?
Well I met this girl who is a friend of a friend a while back. We met twice and saw movies together 9as a big group). I got along with his girl (emma) and got her msn, then we didn't talk for a few months then a few weeks ago she started a conversation with me and we hit it off.
She invited me out to jam with her band and I accepted, thinking it was just as friends and then the other day I said in a txt message "hey we should meet up in town on saturday". Emma said yes and went ecstatic so my friend reports. It is now obvious to me that she really, really likes me and I've been leading her on without knowing it, so she thinks I like her as well.
I feel ABSOLUTELY NO ATTRACTION to her at all but i wanted to be friends....so how the fuck do I let her down? She wants to meet up in a few days, just the two of us. 'm thinking at this point I'll either (A)Pretend i have a girlfriend (I probably actually will within a few weeks) or (B) tell her straight out that I'm sorry but i don't like her.
Help?

Re: How to deny her gently?
If you want to remain friends with her, don't lie to her by saying you already have a girlfriend. But don't distance yourself from her either - I think you're going to have to tell her that you're just not interested in a relationship with her. Subtly, of course.

Re: How to deny her gently?
Just be straight up with her. Thats should be the best way and also fairly easy. Unless of course you don't ever want to have contact with her again then just ignore her text messages and phone calls.

Re: How to deny her gently?
In your position, I would be telling myself that she will enjoy the sex and even though a relationship will not form the way she may hope, it will be an experience enjoyed and learned from.
Yeah, bang her a few times.

Re: How to deny her gently?
If you really want to be her freind then tell the truth. You would expect the same thing from a freind I hope. It might hurt her a little, but she will get over it, and over time she will learn from it. Sounds kind of gay, but the truth.
