Older girl younger guy dynamics
so far ive only really been succesful with girls that are younger than i am. and its funny cause a few of my buddys are the exact opposite...
now in my past relationships the dynamic has always been im the one completely in charge, and i usually end up looking after the girl which is all good. because usually im older, wiser, bigger, and more experienced.
i'm just wondering in a relationship where the guy is the younger one, does anything really change? now i know thats a casespecific question but in general are the roles reversed?...jesus i dont think i could stand more than a minute if thats so.
i dunno, any input from someone whos been in this situtation would be fucking awesome. oh and im talking about a year or 2. not may decemeber shit, thats a different ballgame all together.

Re: Older girl younger guy dynamics
well i've never been with anyone more than like 3 weeks younger than me so i can't contribute much, but what i CAN contribute is this: there are definitely a couple of younger guys i would jump with no qualms. i don't really see age as an issue but i don't have much of a legitimate opinion on it since i haven't really experienced it yet.

Re: Older girl younger guy dynamics
Having an older guy in a relationship will always work better. Chicks just tend to get that "I wear the pant syndrome" when they are older, in my opinion anyways.

Re: Older girl younger guy dynamics
In retrospect, I've been with way more older chicks than younger.
But the again, I'm a pretty responsible and grown up person most of the time so getting with a more mature girl works better for me.
It's not the age that defines the relationship, it's the mentalities involved.
If you're with an older chick who has a childish mentality concerning age, she's more likely to try to usurp your man-throne and tell you what to do. Therefore you must let her know in the beginning that you're not a child and you will not accept this "I'm in charge" bullshit...That you'd rather be equals in the deal (whilst secretly keeping your man-throne under wraps until she accepts it...Then you sit on that throne and let her know you're the guy and she's the girl and you're not going to be anyone's bitch...Whilst being equals!)
Hope that makes some sense.

The best relationships that I've had have been with older girls. There tends to be less bullshit and better sex.

chicks don't date younger guys. they fuck them, on occasion. they don't DATE them. no relationships. ever. if there are, the woman has some sort of serious problem, like an extreme case of the uglies, or powertrips, or any number of other reasons.

Tell me you're not being serious...
A few of the ex's my boyfriend's mentioned to me (that were long-term) were a few years older than him. According to him he doesn't tend to get with younger girls. Though I'm welllll younger than him. But still, I'm the exception.
OP, how old are you by the way?

Re: Older girl younger guy dynamics
Chicken: I actually almost agree with you? I hooked up with a younger guy recently... and let me tell you, it will never happen again, unless it's 10 years in the future and I know they're old enough to have decent experience. Let's just say "This is why I support sex before marriage." He was absolutely horrible. This younger guy wants me to "teach" him. I don't feel like wasting my time on a project, I'd rather find an older guy who, you know, DOESN'T SUCK. Along with the sucking in bed, he also expects me to mother him. Nuh uh.
Personally I try to date at least 2-6 years older.

Re: Older girl younger guy dynamics
My boyfriend is 7 months younger than me, which isn't too much. It still doesn't change a thing. I rarely think of it, because he doesn't act younger.
I know I'm not 'in charge', even though I am older. That's his job. :p

Re: Older girl younger guy dynamics
I dated a guy that was younger then me once, and I doubt I'll ever do it again. He was 2 years younger then me. Even though he was really mature and most of the time I couldn't even tell the age difference, when we got into fights I couldn't stand him. He was exreamly immature in that sence. Plus the sex was shitty. He couldn't last very long and could only ever go for one round. He also had a huge superiority complex, but I don't know if that had to do with age.
Baisically, girls tend to like older guys because they mature faster then guys do, so if a girl is dating guy a year or two older they tend to be on the same level.

Re: Older girl younger guy dynamics
I seem to be better with older girls. My current girlfriend is two years older than me (18), and the one before that was one year older than me. Actually come to think of it most of the girls I go out with and do stuff with seem to be older than me.

Re: Older girl younger guy dynamics
I have to say that age is no matter, as long as the man and woman are comfortable with the gap. I am dating a woman who is 26, and I am 18. As long as the people in the relationship are comfortable with the gap, there will be no problems. Also, I love dating older women, much more experienced and longer lasting! Some girls cannot handle dating younger guys, and some guys cannot handle it, but that is just immaturity. All I can say to the younger guys who want to date older women is just to go for it, if you are comfortable and she is too it will be the best experience of your life!

Re: Older girl younger guy dynamics
Men get better with age, women get worse.
So naturally, an older man and younger woman couple is perfect. That way everyone wins (Except for the younger men and older women, lol).
If the woman is older in the couple (like, significantly older), then generally, she is either really desperate, or has a fetish for younger (possibly more virile) boys. Or she's having a mid-life crisis.

Re: Older girl younger guy dynamics
Ive actually been getting in arguments having to do a bit with these issues with my girlfriend. Shes about a year and a half older than me, and she talks down to me all the time like my word isn't valid and I'm not as responsible as she is.
Like, she bitches at me all the time about how I'm spending MY money, when just a couple weeks ago I had to put about 600$ towards her for rent, gas, food, insurance, etc. Yet, when I have any idea of spending it on something I want, she bitches me out because I'm broke because of her.

Re: Older girl younger guy dynamics
Every girl I have ever dated, save one, was older than me. I just can't stand immature women. They annoy the fuck out of me. I have always been mature far ahead of my age, and have dated as such. Even if the girl is 3-4 years older than me, I am usually still more mature/responsible, and I just don't come off as a young person. My current girlfriend is 2 months younger than me, and it's been the longest relationship I've been in. I don't know if that is saying something about age difference, or just the fact that I was never really wanting a long term deal till now.
tl;dr age isn't important, maturity is.

Re: Older girl younger guy dynamics
Well I'm 23, and have in the past year dated a 28 and 34 y.o. Both had children, and lemme tell you, the sex was fuckin amazing!!
The 34 y.o. was nuts, and I found out that she just wanted kids though. Luckily I found this out early on account of her getting a little drunk and asking me if I wanted kids. When I said 'sure in about 10 years' she's like 'But my ovaries will be dried up by then', and proceeds to go into how she wants more kids asap. I decided to deal with it for the first bit, as she was absolutely georgous (just smoking body and face, perky tits suprisingly). One day when I was drunk and we were about to fuck she grabbed the condom out of my pants that were lying on the floor, opened it, and then turned 180 degrees (back towards me) for a second or two. At which point I thought of the two kids upstairs and quickly lost my erection... She was kind of shocked and disappointed when I couldn't get it back up, and we were pretty much done at that point. I'm not up for having kids any time soon.
The 28 year old was (well, is) freakin amazing. When I met her she had these huge F sized tits, and was never afraid to make a mess. I fucked her tits (and ass for that matter) using olive oil when we had nothing else around. Hehehe, smelled like frenchfries in that room for days. She knows what she wants and since I've always been gifted (sometimes feels like a curse) with the ability to fuck for unreal amounts of time we got along great. Steamed up the windows in 25 degree weather in fairly large rooms.
I like older girls because alot of them have a much better idea of what they actually want, and they often have jobs and their own places.
Oh and women that have had kids seem to have much better control of their kegals. And oh how I love kegals.

For some reason this made me laugh.
To OP, when you're a teenager, it just seems weird to date a girl more than 2 years older than you. Like a 17 year old guy with a 20 or 21 year old girl... I dunno, it's just that the dude is still in high school...
I dunno it's backwards. But if you're gonna do it, do it. If she's hot. Then she can buy you beer and get you into the 18+ movies (LOL) and all that jazz.
But if both of you are over 20 I dunno what the issue would be.

That's nothing to do with age, that's just because she's a bitch.

I did my time, I don't owe a younger guy anything. ;)
When I started my first was also a virgin, so we worked together. My second also only had one other, we worked together. The third I had more exp then, but he was the best by far.
Maybe I'm just unreasonably seeking the innate knowledge of HOW to fuck. =P

Re: Older girl younger guy dynamics
I read the word "successful" and started to chuckle.
Age is only age; be it younger or older. I look for an equal, not an equal in age - but an equal where it counts.
How is one "successful" with girls?

I know what isn't successful. Like if she ends up dead. Or paralized. Or with brain damage. Or mentaly traumatized. That is being UNSUCCESSFUL with a girl.

Unfortunately, no. I don't have much experiance dating girls in general (keep in mind, I am one) only 2 I think.
I think it'd be pretty sweet to be able to claim that one of your girlfriends left the relationship minus a limb or her mental helth though. I think this calls for a 'How did you fuck up your girlfriends?' thread.
