Oye, the classic love triangle-sh thingy
Ok, so I've been dating my girlfriend for 13 months now, but recently things have been hard. She's always negative and complains about every little thing in her life (she's 18, living with her dad with a house that's almost paid off, little bills, car that runs decent. I'm 16 living with my mom who's bussiness is about to go down living in a rental house, mom's running out of money).
I still love her and all, but I don't know if I can spend the rest of my life with her at this rate. The thing is, she's my first love.
She was my first kiss, my first lover, all my firsts. I've told her that I want to marry her too, and up until recently I was sure.
Then there's my best friend(a girl), who I've know for nigh on 3 years, and we've become closer lately. She is also 18 and a senior at my highschool. I see her every day and I love her dearly.
She knows I have my girlfriend, she's even met her. For that past week or so she's been coming on to me pretty strong. The thing is, I liked it.
I've had a special place in my heart for this girl for a long time, but I never thought anything would happen.
On the bus lately we've been doing alot of cuddling and such, and it is normal for us to kiss eachother on the cheek, forehead, etc., we've done it for a long time now. Though we've done it more lately.
Monday on the bus home I could feel this vibe from her, I thought she wanted to kiss me but I wasn't sure. I pulled her chin up to kiss her nose before I got off the bus and she raised her head like I was going to kiss her on the lips, though I didn't.
Then today on the bus ride to school we were listening to my ipod, and man this girl knows how to drop hints. She was playing 'she will be loved'. You know the part: She was a beauty queen of only 18, she had some trouble with herself. He was always there to help her, she always belonged to someone else. That's how it was for a while, though it went both ways until she broke up with her boyfriend seeing as he had to move several hours away.
I've wanted to kiss her for a while now, and now she was reciprocating the desire. So on the bus ride home today she was sending the same signals, and finally we just kissed. Then we kissed again, and again. Finally she pulled away quickly and had this horrified look on her face. She apologized, and I told her not to be sorry, I've wanted the same thing.
So she told me that when I kiss her she can't think. And that the big problem is that she wants more.
And... I don't know what to do. Advice?
Short version: My girlfriend of 13months and I have been strained lately. Best friend of 3 years has been coming on to me strong, we kissed, I dunno what to do.

Shut up moron. Get out of my thread.

You're post was only slightly more helpful. I just don't know if I, or my friend can handle knowing that there's my girlfriend who's oblivious to all that's going on.
Do you know nothing of love or really caring for someone? I can't seem to bring myself to just dump the girl I have shared love with for the past 13 months. At the same time, I'm worried that the relationship will slowly diminish and eventually become null. That may be the best option, but I don't think my conscience will allow me to carry on a seperate intimate relationship while the other slowly wastes away. I don't want to hurt my girlfriend, but I don't want to play or break my friends heart.
Any more helpful posts?

I really do need some sound advice from someone with some sort of wisdom or insight. Even if it wasn't advice and just a sincere comment or relation, anything really, I need somone to talk to about it.

I don't know, that's tough. Either you stay with the girl you love but don't know if you love her that much and wonder what could have been with somebody else, or you ditch somebody who could be perfect for you for your friend, who after you date will never be the same friend again.
Yaknowwhatimean?
But from what you wrote, I (just me, I'm not you, don't blame me, Caution: Contents are Hot!) would probably go with your friend.
However, I don't know either of the girls, and you probably described one more favorably than the other because of what mood you're in at the moment.
If you don't think the relationship with your current girlfriend is going any further (farther or further?), then see what you can make of things with the other girl. But beware that you will, in all probability, never have the same friendship with that girl again, should you break up.
Or maybe you'll go on and get married and live happily ever after with a picket fence and 2.5 kids!
Describe your feelings objectively more in depth, please.

Heh, i feel the need to apologize for totse. It's fuckwits like them that give us a bad name.
There is only a limited amount of advice you can give on a subject like this, no one knows you better than yourself. You've got to trust your instincts and go with the girl that you think will make you happy, because life is too short to spend with people who you don't like any more. Feel free to msn me if you want to talk, it's one in the morning and i got nothing better to do.

Re: Oye, the classic love triangle-sh thingy
You're only 16, you aren't ready to settle down yet. I don't know it this is true, because I haven't experienced it, but being in only one relationship will make you more inclined to cheat because you don't know what anyone else is like. Apparently.
When you look at the big picture, 13 months isn't a long time. You have at least 4/5ths of your life left..... do you honestly think you will spend the rest of your life with this girl?
At least if you broke up with her now to try someone else, you have someone who you know likes you, PLUS you two have known each other for a while now. I say give it a try.

Re: Oye, the classic love triangle-sh thingy
Well I had a talk with my girlfriend, of course I didn't tell her that I basically cheated on her on the school bus.
We did talk about my feelings about our relationship for like 4 hours though. She now understands that I fear that we've gradually become seperated. After some considerable talk we have concluded that we will work on the relationship some more, but we have also settled that no matter what happens we will remain good friends if we seperate. Also, we will, in time, learn to move on and be happy with other people.
Essentially, I've decided that unless something miraculous happens, we will be seperating rather soon. I honestly believe this is best for us.
I am going to tell my friend that my girlfriends and my relationship is slowly coming to an end, and not because of her either. I will tell her the truth, that lately the relationship has been strained and that we have discussed it and we both now have come to terms that it may be nearly over.
If she decides that she would like to persue a relationship with me then it will go from there.
I will tell her all this tomorrow on the bus, and hope with everything within me that she will still "want more" as she said she did. Secretly I thing I've wanted her since I first came to know her, I just never did anything about it.
Anyway, wish my romance luck, and also keep positive thoughts that no-one will end up with a broken heart and the pain will be reduced as much as possible for everyone involved, especially my (now almost ex) girlfriend.
Thanks, more advice is still appreciated of course ;-)

Re: Oye, the classic love triangle-sh thingy
Seems like your relationship is running out of steam, you gotta hop on the freight train thats picking up speed or else you'll be stranded on the tracks in the middle of nowhere saying "fuck! why didn't i switch trains at the crossroads?" Then again your girlfriend has a car...

Re: Oye, the classic love triangle-sh thingy
Nice thing to do: Break up with your girlfriend...You've become too different, you're going through your own shit and you don't think it'll work with her anymore. Get with your friend and see where it goes.
Not nice thing to do: Keep seeing your friend behind your girlfriend's back and hope she doesn't find out.
Cool thing to do: Convince your girlfriend that it would be good for you in such an emotionally turbulent time if she'd allow your friend to join you in a nice session of raw passion. And video that shit for later viewing.
Your choice.

Re: Oye, the classic love triangle-sh thingy
well your gf finds out you kissed her and you're fucked so you might as well dump her before she finds out and dumps you. If you stay with her and then your friend loses interest....sucks for you. Sounds like one way or another ur gonna break up either by you, her finding out, or cause both of you are going under financially one of yall are going to move off to seek stability.

Re: Oye, the classic love triangle-sh thingy
Basically my girlfriend and I are going to break up. I told her, out of respect, that I will try to make it work for a while. Basically it will be over within the month. I am going to tell my friend that and explain to her that if she still "wants more" as she said, then she can have it all. She will only have to give me some time to move on.
And as someone mentioned, I think part of this was because I relised that if I stay with my girlfriend for ever, I will never have known any other women with any kind of intimacy. Now I will.

Re: Oye, the classic love triangle-sh thingy
Fuck your friend. Then fuck your girlfriend in the same day. As soon as you finish, tell your girlfriend its over and turn on the vcr. Show her the tape of the friend you fucked. Then proceed to laugh at her, spit on her and do a manly strut out the door with your middle finger waving back at her.

Re: Oye, the classic love triangle-sh thingy
So I explained everything to the girl, and we have decided we are going to continue this relationship. I will be breaking up with my girlfriend soon, prolly within the week. Then we will be free to do what we want at school (right now we can't because her friends don't know yet).
I can't wait until school tomorrow, we made out this morning, and she says she's really comfortable with me. I thought it would be akward, but being with her feels natural, it always has. Now that we know eachothers intentions there's no need for me to have to hold back my feelings.
Hopefully my 'girlfriend' won't take it too badly when I break up with her.
Thanks totse, any more advice?
