Well.. where do I start. We're both in 10th grade. Shes smart, funny and beautiful.. I think shes prefect. Shes the reason I ended up doing cheerleading (not just to be with her but because she asked me, I would do so much for her) We're really good friends but I want to take it further then that. I don't know for sure if she thinks of me like that, sometimes I really get the feeling that she likes me but other times its the "only friends" type of feeling. I'm thinking about asking her out but I don't want to mess up our friendship and then I end up with nothing.

Advice?

I'm in the exact same situation. I know it sounds kinda childish, but maybe you could get a friend to do some subtle digging for information from her? Just be careful if you do, screwing it up would look really bad.

Thread starter, if you dont want to end up in this fatal 'friends zone' thing I've heard of, you may want to discuss this with her soon.
As someone above said, bring up the topic with her in a joking fashion, and see where it goes from there.
HOWEVER, dont imply that you only joined cheerleading to get to be with her more, some might see it as sweet, others might see it as false.

This is one of the hardest things to do. But could prove to be once of the most rewarding things aswell. I was in this situation once, I just had me and some guys round at my house, eventually it was just me and her, I decided we watch a movie, in my room. We ended up cuddling in my bed and went from there, try and make it natural.

Anyways.. I was about to ask her out today but I had a major lose of confidence when I was about to.. I never have much but I had a little bit more then the usual.. Shes probably going to find out by tomorrow though because I was talking to one of her friends about it.

If you talked to her friends, then she already knows... Anyway, the same thing happened to me, I told her about a year and a half after I met her that I liked her, and she said that she doesn't feel the same way (she likes skater fags and I'm not, I'm the one that breaks their boards over their heads and gives them a nice boot to the face). She's also my best friends little sister so that would've been odd anyway... However, she introduced me to her best friend (twice as hot, really good personality) and we're still together now, and me and the other girl are still like brother and sister.

So moral of the story: Tell her and you'll either get her, or she'll introduce a better, much hotter friend...
