If I were you I'd spend a decent length of time BEFORE you actually have penetrative sex. Enjoy all the rest of it first, get really into each other and go down on her for a while.

I suggest doing it for your first time with somebody you trust. It has to be someone you know reasonably well. You have to be comfortable around them. Because if something happens, say you go soft, and you're uncomfortable to begin with, that's going to be the end of that. And you'll feel like shit and she probably will too.

Knowing that the other person is a virgin might help her to be more comfortable, at least it would me.

Knowing the other person has exactly as much experience as you might help alleviate all the "Oh god what If I suck at it and he doesn't like it and he holds it against me" thoughts.
