ok so my grandfather died last saturday of a heart attack/ stroke at age 90. now his services were this saturday , because hes not being buried, hes gonna be cremated and spread in the Oregon Ochocos where his wife had the same thing done. thing is when my dad called me i had a sinking feeling after he told me but no tears. even at the funeral home i didnt even tear up. i feel thats a bit odd, considering how much i love him. im not really posting this to get a response its more to get it off my chest. But after hearing about his life it changed me. he was a Mason, a shriner, and and elk, he helped give back to his comunity and now i feel that i need to live up to the Sherrer name, countless people told my dad and uncle how unique Al was, and how he impacted their lifes. i feel much better having said this. comment if you like but i coulnt care less really.

I didn't cry when either of my grandfathers died but I cried when my aunt died and I was 9. Probly because she died suddenly in a motorcycle crash. Real men don't cry we multiply.
