My friend broke up with her boyfriend (Advice please/long)
Last week my friend broke up with her boyfriend, and ever since she's been really depressed. I've started talking to her alot on MSN and she's told me that he broke up with her because they were fighting alot and it "drains him". He also didn't bother to break up with her in real life, he left her a message on MSN.
I asked more and I guess he was a complete asshole who never called her/talked to her much, and always ignored her around other people.
She told me that what upsets her the most is that guy couldn't care less, and seems unaffected (They have been together for.. at least a year or so....).
Is it just me, or does this guy seem like a lazy ass who couldn't care less about her?
Anyway, she is now really depressed, always saying she is worthless and ugly, ect...
I keep telling her she's not ugly and that the guy is an asshole that doesn't/didn't care about her, and that she can do better. The guy's cousin also said that he's an asshole and that she can do better.
What really gets me is that he was too afraid/lazy to break up with her in real life, and that he had to do it over msn and then never really speak of it again.
Anyways, I was wondering what more I should say to her to try to make her feel better and realize that the guy is an asshole. I really hate seeing her so sad and depressed all the time...

Just keep on being there for her...Sooner or later she'll snap out of it and realise the guy's a cock smoker.
