Ask her what your relationship really means to her because if she's willing to let someone who has no authority over her tell her that she can't speak to you, she obviously doesn't really care all that much about your relationship and you shouldn't be moving in with her in the first place!!

Her aunts are providers, she is obviously not as comfortable with the idea of moving in with you as you seem to think. Give her time and dont put pressure on her, let her make up her own mind.

Agreed. The last thing she needs is a deadline, and if she moves in because you give her an ultimatum you're always going to have that in the back of your mind "Did she move in because she loves me, or was it because I made her?".

Like robin said, unless those items are technically her aunts, your girlfriend has every legal right to take them, no matter what your aunt says. If they wont let you, then you may have to get some legal help.

Problem is of course, even if the things do belong to her, can she prove it? It wouldn't be too hard for her aunts to say "I bought her that, it's staying here" etc etc. The only way to prove she owns things are with receipts she has in her possession. And if she's anything like most people, she'll have thrown them as soon as she got them.

I'd go with the idea of hiring a van and getting some buddies to help. Get about five or six guys, or more if you can, to help out with moving everything. Wait down the street till her aunt goes out and then make your move. With that many people you can be out in 30 mins flat. And if her aunt were to come home and catch, what's she gonna do? Throw her handbag at you? Even if she called the cops you'd be gone before they arrived!

this. but it probably won't come to that. her aunt can't physically stop her from leaving, and if she does, your girlfriend can just call the police on her for assault.

regardless of who bought them, they're still your girlfriend's belongings. there's some law somewhere that although minors can't technically own anything, they can 'own' their clothes, in the sense that their parents can't keep them from taking them if they decide to leave or something like that.

edit: and you said that your girlfriend won't have the reciepts to prove that she bought the stuff. does the aunt keep her reciepts? if not, it's her word against her aunt's, and unless they're the same size and the aunt can try to say that they're her clothes and she wears them, they'll most likely let your girlfriend take them.

last night I took my girlfriend out to dinner, and she told me she wasn't going home, (AKA she was moving in)

So she moved in last night, and her aunts were pissed. She came with what she was wearing. So I'm buying her some clothes and her aunts said that they will give her some of her clothes.

But they are trying to get her to move back in and she keeps telling them no. They kept calling my house half the fucking night last night, But yea...

So that is what is going on, I'll post what goes down tomorrow, She is going up to get her stuff they said they would give back. My mom is going along and waiting outside, in case they try and make her stay.
