SG mods, sorry in advance for any perceived toe-stepping, but someone found their old trove of spam accounts and are putting them to use...

I'll take my lashings when you guys get back.

Ciao.

You shouldn't be apologizing, the SG mods should be thankful that you are helping them out.

I was wondering if I should taken any action, glad somebody did something while the SG mods were away.

Is it still going on?

Not that I've noticed. I had a helping hand in this as well.

I think they should be grateful as well, as I and robby helped them while they were out. Unfortunately, not everyone's good intentions are met with thanks, hence this thread. Ohhh, perfect world!

You won't hear any complaints from me. If someone has had my back then I'm grateful. Haven't checked SG yet this morning...

It seems like these things almost always happen when I'm out.

Thanks for any help. Never feel bad about doing something. If you see spam going on - in any forum - and it doesn't seem like any of the Mods are around, then go ahead and give profile infractions to the offender[s]. It will at least stop the spammer. Of course, there's nothing you can do about the spam itself, but you can at least stop it.

I bumped some of the bans up from a week (they all made more than one thread, so two infractions are justified :)), since they're just multiple accounts with the sole purpose of trolling. Again, I hope nobody minds.

EDIT: I think people are trying their luck with the new mods. It'll probably happen every time there's a rotation.

Why are they targeting SG alone? They get all the fresh meat.

It's just a shot in the arm to SG from some HB troll accounts, nothing new.

One just popped up again. BATTLESTATIONS!
