'n about half of those tend to give it up if you grow some balls and stand up for yourself. Even more if you're a complete flippin' psycho with no concern for your life and a psychotic bitterness about the whole social regieme, but we'll presume that just "stand up for yourself" is more accurate here.

So, basically, the entire threat comes from about 0.1% of the population, most of which will be too afraid to face you and so will try to act undetected - either masked or hooded mob attacks in darkness, or arson under cover of darkness, trying to remain unseen. Meanwhile, most people are sympathetic to you, but afraid to speak out.

Leverage this to your advantage. 'n go for it, and change or destroy society if it stands in your way.

The caste system was created by an unenlightened idiot who wanted some "divine" reason to subjugate others. There is a societal application, but it has nothing to with Purusha. Purusha is beyond knowing, so how can a person explain Purusha in terms of "this" and "that"(Prakriti)? That's neither logical nor plausible. Technically the segregation and bias against people who don't give a fuck about castes is illegal in India now. But the Social Control/Stigmas is still strong in many areas.

the answer is fairly simple as i see it: completely disregard this system, your parents, and anything else that stands in your way. why should you give a flying fuck about what other people tell you is acceptable or not? you should decide these for yourself. and plus, what are your parents/society gonna do about it? your parents might be extremely pissed, but who cares? it's not like you'll get lynched or something.

While I agree with the fact that he shouldn't give a flying fuck, it is a lot more difficult than it sounds. Indian children are brought up to believe that sticking with your family and upholding family values is a most sacred duty. Trust me, I know after almost 20 years of brainwashing.

Piece of advice, Deoz, date her in secret for a while and then, if you see it's working out tell your parents. Don't worry/enrage them for a relationship that's only going to last a couple of weeks or months.

While I'm not living in India, the pressure to be with someone of my own caste is still there. However, I've been dating someone who's not Indian for a while now. When my parents find out they will probably threaten to disown me but, I have a feeling that they'll come around eventually. It will probably be more difficult for you. You must make the decision of whether you want to risk the relationship you have with your parents; it's never going to be the same after they find out.
