I am so sick of putting so much of my mental energy into relationships, potential relationships, and failed relationships. I'm just so sick of caring right now. It all just seems so pointless and unworthy of my time. I'm in such a fugue right now... I just want to sleep for a week. Is anyone with me?

Maybe its just where your at in the business with the ladies....Not too long ago i was in a bad situation where i realized it was my fault that i lost out with this girl, i felt horrible that day i realized that...but then i went out and started talking more in depth with another girl(something i shouldve did before that all happened). Feel down and out for a bit but then i just re-coop with a stronger attitude and go out and regenerate some action to makeup for the loss.

Anymore dont press for a relationship unless you have to...not saying to go out and look for a friend with benefits type deal, but dont get locked down with a girl where if something happens youll have some emotional times after you break up with them or stop seeing them.

I don't want a relationship. I don't want to be with anyone right now. No one's interesting enough. I don't even wanna fuck or hook up with someone. I'm just so disinterested in the entire affair right now.

At such times it is indeed a good idea to step back from it all, get alot of sleep and indulge in some you time. Ie, time that you're not using and wasting worrying about other people.

Well go out and do something else, check your hobbies out some more, gain some new ones. Just go out and do stuff dont sit idle cause thats when ur mind/thoughts will own the fuck out of you.

Go and play GuildWars. Within that game lies the means to kill several weeks and braincells unwittingly and unknowingly whilst doing something enjoyable and utterly worthless with your life.

Dissosciative fugue would be more fun. Complete shut down of your entire personality, identity, memory, etc. then just reboot as somebody completely different, usually miles and miles away.

So with you. I've been putting SO much energy into my ex-girlfriend. I realized how at fault I was in that relationship and how close we could have been to having something good and I can't let it go. But then another part of me is putting an almost equal portion of energy into current hook ups, future dating opportunities, rekindling old friendships, everything.

I want her so bad. She didn't tell me she loved me until after she'd had enough.

Totally. Even in relationships whereby I know I have complete security and the other half is a jealous wreck all the time, the relationship consumes all my thoughts and actions. Life when single and not chasing is so much simpler. Don't know about anyone else, but so many of the things that I enjoy go out of the window when having to commit so much time to a partner it becomes a hassle, and even sex kinda seems like a bit too much effort.

I feel like cocooning myself in my room for a couple weeks, chatting to friends only as and when I want to and not bothering with anything to do with women.

Yeah I've been like that for a month or so now. My libido has also dropped way down.
