i was having sex with my girlfriend and it broke and i'm worried she could be pregnant. she could hypothetically be under eighteen. I am 18. She finished her period this morning, so apparently that makes the chances of pregnancy low, but i don't know for sure, so i'm asking all of you. I sort of pulled out but not all the way. I'm so worried; i'm in my freshman year in college and i can't have her pregnant.

I live in Wisconsin in the US- can i go to target and get plan B?
Is she infertile right after her period?
Most of my semen got on the carpet, not inside of her.

Go to your local pharmacy and get a good couple plan b pills. give her one and save the other. They're over-the-counter, just ask the pharmacist and he'll sell you a couple. around here they're about $15 a pill. Or take her to planned parenthood and they'll take care of it for you and will keep it confidential.

Been there, done that.....it sucks ass.
Positives- ovulation is only 4-5 days, usually a week or two after the period. Plan B will help tremendously.
Negatives- a girls under 21 can be ovulating during the period, and a sperm can live up to 48 hours waiting for an egg. Plan B is not an abortion it only stops pregnancies before the sperm and egg met.

Just because the chances are slim doesn't mean you should be complacent about this. Both of you need to go see your local pharmacist right away and get an emergency contraception, whatever you guys call it over there.

The pharmacist will talk it all through with her and decide on the best one, and will keep it confidential. You will, however, need to pay for the pills. I think it's something £20 over here, but we pay over-the-odds for everything!
