move on or destroy?
so, 2 year relationship just ended, and thats pretty long for a 17 year old. So, i feel hurt and lonely (like every otther depressed teenager). She regressed after the breakup (started smoking and doing stupid shit again, basically, the day after we ended it).
this angers me more than the breakup, shes learned nothing. Everything she claimed she "learned" while we were still dating, that she "finally learned how to dress, learned how disgusting smoking is" etc, its all for shit.
So, i want my sweat back, i want my endless hours of helping her back, i want the tears back, and obviously, its impossible. Thats the past, move on, right?
Well, i'd rather get some compensation.
oh, sidenote: she still uses me as an emotional tampon, but when im the one who needs comforting, shes suddenly busy with something incredibly important.
so, im open to ideas as what to do, right now im wondering whether to just ignore her and focus on myself, OR, completely fuck her over in every way i know how. Yes, its immature, but iits no longer a matter of maturity, its a matter of peace of mind.

Re: move on or destroy?
I know how you feel.
Dont spread shit about her. Just whenever she talks to you, don't give a fuck.
Don't ACT like you don't give a fuck. Just DON'T give a fuck.
focus on yourself. don't give her the joy of using you. because that's all she's doing by using you as an emotional tampon.
Treat her as you would a guy you hate.
that's about it.
or better yet, she shouldn't exist to you anymore. If she tries talking to you online or whatever, go away. if she calls you tell her its the wrong number or ignore it. Just avoid means of communication

Re: move on or destroy?
Jesus Christ, just grow up and move the fuck on.
There is no point in hurting the other person after a break up.
Take out your pain on yourself.Pick up a self-destructive habit for a while. You'll feel better.
But it's kinda lame to target someone for revenge. Nut the fuck up.

Re: move on or destroy?
First up, don't be an emotional tampon...You broke up...That means you can now actually say "Woman, I don't give a fuck about your shit! Piss off!" and not get in trouble for it!
Second, revenge is fun and all at the time but it can actually hurt afterwards when you realise you hurt someone you still love and because of it you know the chance of you ever being something special to that person again has gone out the window.
It may sound like bullshit now but trust me, it can really fuck you up.
My advice to you is to move on...Be done with the regression thing and concentrate on progression. Give it time and the anger and pain fade away.

already on that haha.
and robinhoody, your right, but you see, i said, its not a mattter of what right or mature, its a matter of having the last laugh.
when i say destroy, i mean ruin alot of parts of her life.
psycho_8b; " it can actually hurt afterwards when you realise you hurt someone you still love and because of it you know the chance of you ever being something special to that person again has gone out the window.",
THAT is what is holding me back from doing something "Stupid".
I shall just chill out and ignore her for a while, maybe permanently, who knows, but yes, i'll ignore her. However, if she comes back to use me as an emotional tampon, i'm fucking her shit up.

ya man i agree here.
key point.
with all girls.
ACT LIKE YOU DONT GIVE A FUCK.
my ex tried to break up with me once, and i was just like "alright"... after that she was all over me.
girls love that shit for some reason.
and also i agree with whoever said take up a destructive habit. like drinking, or smoking. sure its destructive, but itll keep your mind off things while your emotions are healing.

Re: move on or destroy?
I think jackketch's standard advice of a bouquet of roses, a smile and a hand-written note thanking her for the lovely times you had together would work pretty well here. Then go find somebody else. You'll feel better in time.

Re: move on or destroy?
OP....just learn the lessons of YOUR mistakes and move on. You were with the wrong gal, hence all of these "changes" you had her go through. You aren't her keeper, and whatever destiny she lives out is not some personal testament to YOU or the time you had with her. Yeah, the time you wasted and have nothing to show for always seems like a "loss". But guess what? Even if you ended things nicely, or she was still that "good girl" you left her as.....you would still wish you could have that time back.
Look at it this way. Imagine if she DID remain that good girl, and months later was with someone else. Wouldn't you feel just as "hurt" about the way it ended up thinking....."look at all the work I put in, and now someone is reaping the rewards of MY labor"????? See, no matter what she does with the rest of her life, you'll put some personal attachment to it. That thinking is wrong and is ONLY harming you, not her.
Just move along and learn to find people more compatible with you. Stop trying to change folks. Because in the end, people that have changed or expecting the changes from their partners NEVER live happily ever after. Because eventually those changes just fade away, because they weren't changed for the right reasons in the first place. If you had stayed with her, then either she would have felt "repressed" by being with you.....and then acted out in any number of ways to seek justice because of the "sacrifices" she had to make to maintain the relationship. Or, she would have eventually went back to those behaviors while still with you....and then you would have felt deceived, disappointed, unloved. Either way its lose/lose. Just stick with folks that share your sense of morality, and it will be easier on everyone in the long run.

You little baby. "If she comes back to use me as an emotion tampon im fucking her shit up"
You just said you would ignore her but then you also find any reason you can to fuck her shit up. Fucking ignore her, and if she bugs you, laugh in her face and walk away. Much more mature and effective way to keep her away. If you get revenge by fucking her over more than that, then she may end up coming back after you.
Just plain grow up laugh it off, otherwise you are going to go through life unhappy always trying to get revenged on people who've "done me wrong".

Its her life, why should that affect you at all?
You have no reason to get mad about it. Every event in life is NEUTRAL, not good or bad until you say it is. So get optimistic.
Well, i'd rather get some compensation.
Just like every other immature, baby in this world who has some WRONG done to them. Suck it up life sucks sometimes it just aint fair.
so, im open to ideas as what to do, right now im wondering whether to just ignore her and focus on myself, OR, completely fuck her over in every way i know how. Yes, its immature, but iits no longer a matter of maturity, its a matter of peace of mind.
If you want peace of mind, ignore her, and be peaceful about it. The only way to a peaceful mind is to be at Peace in your own mind. You cant make other people do things to get yourself peace. Peace always comes from within. You have no reason at all to get revenge. She will pay for her Immaturity in the future due to her own choices. You don't have the right to make someone pay.

Re: move on or destroy?
What I don't understand is why you were getting her to stop smoking, and trying to dress her different? Like you were training her to be the girlfriend you wanted, and not who she really was. Sounds pretty controlling, you might want to look into that.

Re: move on or destroy?
Take it from someone who knows what they are talking about. Dating from 15-17 is simply too young to have any lasting emotional effects. You'll get over it. You're just a kid.
If you're 20 and broke up after 2 years, and if the girl was your everything, then I would suggest a hellfire of a murder/suicide. For the lulz.

Glad I cold help! Now name your first born son after me, and we're even. : )
Seriously, I realize it hurts and it's hard to stop focuing on all that "time lost". The truth is you are too deep in the forest to see the trees right now. She DID serve a purpose in your life, and that was sharing the experiences she had with you. It/she did shape you, and all future decisions you make from this day forward will be part of the equation as you gather on all the experiences you've witnessed your entire life. Basically, the bullshit you endured yesterday....... is what paves the path to TOMORROW. Good luck to ya!
