I dislike asking for advice because I like to do my own thing, but when it comes to this particular girl, the rules seem to fall apart.

Now, some stuff you need to know. When I make eye contact, and smile, she smiles. I can give her an awkward free hug when the time is right, like when saying bye, stuff like that. When we talk, she smiles and sometimes crosses her legs towards me. We can pretty much talk about anything if I bring it up.

Here is the deal...

She is VERY manipulative. She has many guys that like her and I would not be surprised if she does exactly what she does to me.

I told her I liked her and nothing pretty much changed except some awkwardness at first but we got over it.

Today, she seemed a little down so I asked her what was wrong and she smiled and said that she was thinking, I asked about what, and then before she said anything, I said that if it was okay if I should call her because i had to go, she noded yes. And i asked, you sure its cool, she nodded yeah again. It Seemed like she didn't want me to call. I called today and one of her siblings said she wasn't there. I called her cell and it just rang and rang, no answer. Pretty odd because she always carries her phone...

So dear totse, can you give me some advice? Should I just do nothing and wait or should I do something? I do not want too look like a fool and make the same mistakes others have done...

Her birthday is coming up and I was planning on writing a letter to her rather than buying her something, she likes that. I have a general idea of what I should write to her but I want to see what you guys have in mind....

If she did, something would have happened when you told her you liked her. But it didn't. The most she sees you as is a friend, which isn't a bad thing really if she's a manipulative bitch.

Here's what I'm gonna tell you to do...

Go jack off for a little while...Get some of the tension out. Then play some Half Life 2, Quake 4...Anything with some action and adventure in it.
Once your fingers and eyes are tired from all that awesome gaming, you're gonna have something to eat. Maybe a glass of milk aswell. If you're feeling sassy.
Then you're going to get washed, get dressed, put on some nice aftershave/cologne and you're gonna go out and meet some other women.
If you're lucky, you'll take one of these women home, screw the arse off her and make her call you daddy (purely because you can).
The next day you're going to get up quietly, get dressed quietly, pick up your shoes (don't put them on, for the love of God!) and you're going to escape the house beofe she wakes up.

You wanna know why you're going to do that?

Because you'll have a much better time doing that than running around after a chick who doesn't like you like that who will just manipulate you anyways!

A. a loser, or
B. interested in you only as a friend

If you have to ask yourself or anyone else if you have a "chance" then the odds are greatly against you and that convo you had is just a conversation about her phone your really caught up with her.
