Ok so this girl told my friend, they are friends and I asked to ask her if I could get her number and she said ya, that she has interest in me and would like to go out to eat. So I get her number and tell her I wanna take her out some time. She says she'd love to hang out but doesn't want a boyfriend. I tease and say oh you must be so busy with studies and such, then she objects saying she doesn't like the committment. But then she goes back and said she likes dating better.

Now I'm confused as hell what she wants cause I thought a bf and dating was the same....anyone know what she is talking about?
