It's interesting. So do you believe these gods exist in a literal sense or is it just a metaphor for nature itself?
It looks to me like some kind of dogmatic pantheism. Is it the dogma that intrigues you?

What the hell is a Gnostic Wiccan?

Gnosticism died out centuries ago, I thought.

This is so typically new age.

Hilariously and blatantly so.

My Mum went to a new age convention and saw someone giving people "aura haircuts". This involved "cutting of their aura" with a pair of scissors.

But I digress.

Wicca is a modern invention that was allegedly "revived". Gnosticism does not advocate magic and such - it's more along the lines of a type of Buddhism.

Damn Hippies...

I wonder why someone who can't even be bothered to use proper spelling would presume to answer questions.

well i must apologize to everyone if my spelling is off. i will try my best as i continue writing here. thank you for pointing that out. now as for what is a gnostic wiccan we are a group of people people who practice the wiccan religion and try to find the truth in every thing thats all. as to why I'm a gnostic wiccan well its the way i was raised thats all i can say about it. now as to if i believe all these gods are real or metaphorical then i would have to say yes and no, see i believe the lesser gods such as janus, aries, loki, and the such are metaphors to human nature and nature itself but the mother and father gods zues and hera, azna and dowra are as real, as real can be.

The most important question of all (and I would like an answer):

Why have you rejected the love & salvation of Jesus Christ to follow the satanic lies of Wicca to the pits of hell?

Oh, yeah. You'll get a great answer with that tact, chump change.Proving once again that Christians truly are wellsprings of goodwill and diplomacy.

This thread is filled with suck.

So, you're just a Wiccan, not a Gnostic Wiccan.

You clearly have no idea what Gnosis or Gnosticism is.

Since you ask--first of all, it is quite possible to accept the more important parts of his message while rejecting the great body of myth which has grown up around him.

Second, Wicca is far from Satanic, as its followers do not even acknowledge the existence of that particular mythic figure. Christianity--by definition--is Satanic.

Third, there is no such place as hell. It is merely a state of mind we create when we choose to cut ourselves off from God.

I'm curious that if you believe in the physical existence of these gods. What is your evidence. Or at least your understanding of the beginning of the myth.

By definition, one can no more be an agnostic Wiccan than an agnostic Chistian.

As far as gnostic goes, I would think that a solitary Wiccan would have to more more gnostic-ish than a member of a coven who might depend on a high priest or priestess to act as a sort of earthly psychopomp.

Why can't one be a member of a religious group while also being agnostic about the existence of god. I mean if one becomes agnostic and as a result leaves a religious group, they are coming down as an atheist, not someone who is merely undecided about the whole thing. Besides, maybe they like the lifestyle.

^What part of "mutually exclusive" do you not understand?

When you become part of a religion, you agree to buy all their bs--for instance, Presbyterians and some other Protestants recite the Apostles Creed :

I believe in God the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord:
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;
the third day he rose from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

i havent really read the whole thread, so i dunno if its been mentioned, but id like to point some things out.

my experiance with wiccans is usually they seem to be arrogant about their religon, to the same extent as christianity.
this is a generalisation and i dont know or care if you are.
but a common thing that is claimed is that wicca is the "oldest religon"

WRONG wicca was invented by alexander gardener sometime in the last 100 years.
it is nothing more than a mixture of all the original pagan religons. my evidence is that you have mixed the gods in the first page. you seem to worship loki and zues.

both pagan gods, i agree. but one was norse, the other greek. and however good sailers the vikings were, i have no knowledge of them ever landing in greece. thus the religons never mixed untill now.

but my main question is this, how was the world created? how was life created? have we always been how we are now? is it possible that you are wrong and another religon is true? are all religons equally true?

and one test question. what is satanism?
