Interesting Situation
I am absolutely in love with my girlfriend of 2.5 years. Really I love her. We go to different schools so our time a part is most definitely hard. I got out 3-4 nights a week and whenever I do, I run into the most frustrating time. I've never cheated on her, but lately I've been feeling urges to talk to other girls just to 'know' I can get them. I don't know, it's kind of fucked up--like a game or something. I even think I could get involved with one of these girls (nothing beyond one night) and still be completely in love with my girlfriend.
But goddamn do I feel guilty.

Re: Interesting Situation
don't feel guilty about it dude. It's pretty normal to want to feel desirable and that's what you feel when you talk to women that are interested in you. It's just flirting that helps boost your self esteem and make you feel good about yourself, as long as you don't sleep with any of these women you don't have anything to worry about.

Re: Interesting Situation
Ahhhh, human nature at its finest.
Don't feel guilty mate...It's the way we are.
As long as you don't cheat on your girlfriend, you shouldn't feel guilty.
If, however, you do happen to cheat on her, can you call your love for her true anymore?
Love's about being faithful to that person no matter what.

Well I would say a healthy relationship is about being faithful and able to trust other people... but love isn't necessarily about dedication to one people. Sure, that behavior may be inspired... but he could still love her and cheat, couldn't he? How many people cheat only to find that they really just want what they already have?

Very true, love is more complex than we know.

Fair enough...Go fuck some bitches, realise you only want your girlfriend because you are so in love with her, wait 'til one of her friends tells her that she saw you and some chick in a club hitting it off and then explain it to your loving girlfriend.
Happened to a couple buddys of mine.

Re: Interesting Situation
Sounds like you need to re-evaluate the type of relationship that you are in. Maybe go for something a bit more open... At the very least you should take a good long look at the situation and figure out what you really want.
