I'm not sure if I should. I have to know by Tuesday. My only problem is finding a girl to go with, I may have to ask some :( If I don't find one to go with I won't go, cause I always though it was sad to see people go without a date. I suppose I'll have months to find a date, but still, I imagine allot of rejection in the near future.

I never went to my prom either. There isn't much of a point to it.

If that's the case, isn't it supposed to take place in early summer as opposed to early autumn?
And why would you want to go to a prom with a date, if it's only going to be a sort of a last party with your school-mates? Am I missing something there?

If you're the type that feels the need to have ritual in their life that is traditional and laid out before you as a right of passage then do what you feel you have to do; don't sell yourself short, and have confidence that you'll be getting some dependable pussy in a school year's time. Personally, I don't see the point of putting so much significance into this little formal that you're so stressed out so many months in advance that you can't see the days just in front of you.

I was invited to several proms and didn't attend any. So my advice would be to just find an after prom party to go to: all the fun of the prom (booze, sex, general debauchery) without any of the bullshit.

Damn I miss my school years. Taking the piss out of the teachers, doing your homework in the beginning of the lesson, then avoiding teacher's questions and getting an A for this homework at the very same lesson; slacking after school the whole day; having minimal responsibilities; throwing coins into the door locks to sabotage sitting a test; being called out of the lessons to fix the principal's computer; listening to the radio without the headphones on during the lessons of a semi-deaf teacher; digging a hole into the girl's locker room for 8 months and finally succeeding.. even though most of my classmates where annoying kids that I never even spoke to, that was so damn awesome.
