Call the police and the deputy prosecuting attorney's office in the city where it happened. I've been through this with an ex-neighbour that did that to my niece. Bad memories.

This is one of those things where you wish you were somewhere else at the exact moment she decided to tell you. You know, instead of sitting at your computer, you could've been at the bowling alley or something, and not even known about this whole mess. That's how I wish a lot of things are sometimes.

what I would recommend is talkin to this kid, either by his parents or on your own. he probably knows what he did was wrong, or wrong-ish. If he gets a lecture and a small beating, trust me this will never happen.
