Now to something worth reading.

Moderators are here on TOTSE as more than people who control our posts: they are symbolic of leaders, individuals who have been specifically selected for their posting merit. I don't know about you, but when I see "Moderator" under that name, I instantly feel a certain respect for that person. They have, after all, proved themselves worthy. I detest yoyobek not because she's a stupid dyke but because she's a stupid dyke who was innapropriately given power over posters far more capable than she. And how she ended up moderator of S&A perplexes me, given the ample number of highly capable individuals here. Now, I'm not saying that I am one of those individuals (though I probably am moreso than yoyobek), but instead pointing out fantastic people that I feel deserve modship. Sick Boy, Hand of Zek (despite his issues), and most of all, Xiao Mae, each come to mind as people who stand out.

This is not a plea for modship. I would never PLEA for a simple position of power, at least not on the internet. It is, rather, a request that each and every one of us sit up, open our eyes, and examine the people placed in power. TOTSE may not be a democracy, and perhaps it shouldn't be, but if enough people came together, I'm sure we could replace ineffectual leaders like yoyobek with the people who deserve to be running the show.
