That's what a guy I know said to me, meaning a lot of my friends that happen to be girls...are hot.

So I've been talking to this girl I've known of, but didn't actually know, for a few months now on and off but recently more then ever. Anyhow I'm really into her and I'm getting that back from her - Somethings going to happen soon I just know it, and I like how we've taken the time to know each other before jumping in.

Alright what's my problem? Well she asked what I'm doing this weekend to which I just told her the truth "hanging out, drinking with my friends" - Now that my friend told me my female friends are hot I'm a tad concerned she'll feel threatened? Jealous...whatever? (lol bimbo voice 'whatevaaa' is kinda relevant to the looks)

She's really special and who I want to be with. I think she's beautful and the last thing I want is her thinking I compare her to my friends or that she needs to compete with them or something.

Is there anything I should be doing to make her feel comfortable? I mean I'm probably jumping the gun here but it's in my head now. Just compliment her on how she looks or something?

Why would she feel threatened by your friends? She can probably imagine some of them would think she's hot anyways, so she'll be ready to deal with it.

Also, if you think your friends are going to hit on her, tell them beforehand that she means a lot to you so leave her alone in that regard.

If your friends ignore this request, get new friends.

I think he means that, he is off to drink with his friends who are girls, and when this new chick tags along, she might think "Fuck, **** has a lot of good looking friends that are girls and I need to compete with them".

There's really not a whole lot you can do. Most of it's going to come down to how insecure she is with herself.

If she seems upset about it/something, ALWAYS try to get her to talk about it. Then if she says, "I feel like all your friends are hotter than me.." tell her that you're not interested in them like you are with her, and that you <3 her.

This sounds a lot like a situation I'm in. He has a bunch of attractive woman friends, and I feel like I'm constantly in competition with them. That being said, I'm not a competitive person and will just give him up.

I don't know, it's not a jealous feeling. More like what you said, feeling inadequet. Sometimes I feel like I don't want to even be in a relationship with him ever if I'm always going to feel this way.

Edit: Yeah, I am insecure, especially around girls who I know are prettier than I. And what Byss said, I'm tempted to put out so he'll stick around, but then I kick myself and wait it out. (Not in a teasing him way, mind you.)
