Hey all. I'm sorry to bring this topic up again, please dont shout at me, I'm posting this on trousersnakes request, someone I class as a friend regardless of how much of an ass he's acted at times on totse.

Please understand I'm not trying to cause trouble by posting this. What happened with Trousersnake and sambob happened, and it's none of my buisness. I'm just doing this for Trousersnake as he asked me very politely to do so. I'm keeping out of this discussion as much as possible. Trousersnake had his reasons for not emailing admins, I think,allthough I dont know exactly what they are.
I am just the voice, not the oppinion. Please dont flame me..

I say "No way in Hell", why on Earth should we remod such a terrible poster and mod such as Trousersnake instead of someone who contributed? Sam dealt with his demodding and got on with life, he continues to make good threads and post just like he always and doesn't beg to be remodded, yet Trousersnake continues to flame, insult, and be the same thick-skulled troll he always was.

Do you really think he should be added as a mod again, especially since we're still "pruning" mods now?

He spammed, trolled, banned users for no reason in other mod's forums, and was overrall a total dick who contributed nothing to this site but a headache for anyone who tried to ask him to talk sense with him.

Key point right there, for me. Acts like an ass, makes things difficult.

There's nothing Trousersnake did as a mod that he can't do as a regular, really. Deus does a good job modding in GP and CT along with Dr. Ol Raw and there's no need for another mod in either of those forums. Trousersnake has some great subject knowledge, but he can still post as before; being demodded doesn't stop him contributing and there's no actual reason he should be reinstated.

Should I pass these comments along to him or just say there's a general consensus of "no" ?
I dont want to get into trouble for sharing Mod forum info with a non mod but at the same time I want him to know what the general out come of this thread is.

How should I approach this, anyone?

Tell him there's nothing stopping him from posting as he always has; Napoleon_Complex and Sambob don't have a problom doing it.

I very much doubt that Zok or AM would reverse something Jeff did. And I doubt that either would want to even ask Jeff. Not after the way he acted.

And Yoyo, I wouldn't tell him what each individual said. I would just say that he offered too Little too late. That the time to decide not to be an asshole was before he got banned. And I'd tell him that he should just get on with his life and close the chapter on modding at Totse.

Personally, based on my exposure to trousersnake in Reinvent Yourself, he was akin to a modding nazi.
So, I am not personally sympathetic to his wishes.

I think more he asked me because I try to be loyal to my friends regardless of their fuck-ups and try not to criticise them for no apparent reason.


It'd be nice to get some input from the forum admins/admins, because I assume that's who Trousersnake really wants to hear from.
I'm sure he's aware of the oppinions of most mods allready, they were made pretty clear when he was still a mod and being a wanker here.

Perhaps it was Naive of me to post this, I wasnt truly aware of how annoyed some people are with Trousersnake.

As I said, it was a respectfull request from a friend, I didnt think anyone would get so rude or angry at me for just posting something someone asked me to.

I'm not arguing the topic. What was done was done for valid reasons, reasons which are not my buisness or concern.
But Trousersnake seemed to want closure on all this so I posted it for him. And when an admin.forum admin responds I'll pass that on, and then this whole stupid topic can die.

Some of you are so fucking hostile,and I've no idea why. It's not like I'm saying "HEY guyz lets re-mod trousersnake!" I was simply posting something for someone who used to be a mod and who I felt deserved a final request type thing.
