Can clamidia be passed any other way than through sex?

I worked with this guy for like 3 weeks and then found out he got climidia form his girlfriend a few months prior. I obviously didn't have sex with him or anything remotely of the sorts but I had shared a drink with him and came close to him after he was sick and still coughing.

My left testicle has been starting to hurt lately so this freaked me the fuck out.

Please excuse my ignorance about the whole subject.


By the way, after he found out about how he might have climidia he went to the doctor and the doctor didn't really tell him if he had it. He just said that as a precaution he should drink this shit he gave him. So he doesn't definitely know if he was infected.

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question but I just have to say that I actually laughed out loud reading this... that rarely happens to me.

I would think it's pretty unlikely that you've caught chlamydia (sp?) from sharing a drink with someone. As for your aching testicle, maybe you just have ball cancer.

Go to the doctor and get yourself checked if you have any worries.

If he's got the clap in his throat then yeah, you may have caught it. However if it's genital, I can't see you getting it unless you blew him.

But yeah...Go to the doctor. And check the STD thread. It was made into a sticky for a reason.
