I don't have one right now, but my last one was at a friends place. I was living there because I was a homeless bum, and he had girls over quite often, different ones all the time too, so that was kinda cool. This one time I was just chilling there, drinking with some friends, and these girls came over, and things just kinda... clicked I guess, between one of them and myself.

Actually, that's kinda how I met my girlfriend before that too.

Short: The internet.

Long: I met mine in a role--playing chat room hosted by AOL through a friend of mine. We wound up both getting into fantasy roleplaying at the same time, my friend and I, so we would often roleplay together in the same rooms. He made her acquaintance first and introduced us later. We fairly quickly moved from role-playing in the big open chat rooms to doing things through AIM, still focused on the same two characters. Eventually, we started just chatting between role-playing sessions and we found out we had a lot of common interests. We pretty much just talked after that with very little actual role-playing going on. We became really good friends and, after a while, my computer broke and I lost contact.

I went about a year with no computer, so I just read a lot. I had sort of developed feelings for her, but she lived five hours away and I met her through the internet, so I disregarded them. Who needs that shit in their life? I'd get to send in word to her every now and again when I'd be visiting my friend and she'd be on, but it was nothing too major. One day, I get myself a new computer, but I don't get AIM or anything like that. It remains solely for work and writing (which is the other part of my work, so still basically one thing).

I was visiting my friend one day. He wound up having to leave to head to work, but I was bored and lazy, so I stuck around for a little bit. I was trolling the internet on his computer when she started talking, intending to talk to him. I told her who it was, expecting that she'd lose interest and let me get back to reading, but she kept going. I played along and, next thing you know, I've been chatting for two hours and now really need to get back home and get some work done. I promise I'll download AIM so we can continue discussing things with each other.

We wind up talking for about a month. I am there when she develops a relationship with a guy in Tennessee (she lives in Pittsburgh) who was a fundamentalist asshole. my feelings resurfaced a bit later, so I was very upfront about their existence and that I would respect her wishes to be with this other guy. She thanks me, but feels really bad. I assuage her fears by giving the other guy advice for better handling her and stuff like that, to show I really care about her being happy more than anything. Well, the guy eventually decides that it's cool to go weeks without contacting her at all but talking to her friends about stuff. She finds out about this and is really pissed (he hadn't spoken to her for over a month, the second time he'd done something like that, but had emailed a friend of hers; this was an issue because she had sent several emails asking him where he was and if he was okay without any response).

She intended to visit him on her spring break from her college, which had a different time than normal due to being a private school, and visit a state park in my state on the way down. I convince her to visit me as well, even if just for an afternoon, to follow up on plans we had had a couple years prior before my computer broke. She agreed and, without telling me, comes down to visit me right at the beginning of her break. I am confused, but I let her stay overnight. We wind up chatting a lot, having a really nice time, she meets my fat, lovable dog and we watch two movies. The second one, 2001, is my absolute favorite; I share this kind of thing with very few people. I wanted her to know she was special.

She got the hint. After it finished, she crawl on top of me and we made out for several hours (from about 12:30 till 5, for the detail whores). Afterwards, I ask her if that means we are an item. She laughs and says yes. Later that week, she leaves a message for the other guy to call her because they needed to talk. She told him she was leaving him because he was never there for her but was there for others around her, never communicated, was emotionally dishonest, manipulative, etc., etc. and that there was someone else. She never told him it was me and he just sort of slipped away into the void. We've been together for almost two years now.

So I thought, 'hey, she's fucking hot, why not?'
So I took her to a bookshop.

One day we went to a beach with our class, and the two of us ended up alone on a blanket and she instisted we kiss.

Then we started meeting outside of school, and she fell head over heels for me.

we had a class together, but never talked. we did, however, have a mutual friend in the same class who kind of hooked us up.

He used to come into my work to buy magazines, and I hated him because he was a stupid emo who never smiled at me, or talked to me, or made eye contact, and that really annoyed me. One time I did catch his eye and he had really amazing blue eyes, but I still hated him because he was rude.

Then one day he added me on myspace. I was going to reject his friend request , but decided to leave it overnight. The next day he came into my work and bought stuff for his work. That night I accepted his request and sent him a comment about his purchase, and then we started talking and we just clicked.

It went from myspace messages to MSN to me giving him my number because he had to go out, all in the matter of hours. He convinced me to come out the next night to see his band play, and I didn't see him all night (Apart from them performing) and right towards the end of the night, I find him, and he hugs me and it was the best hug I've ever experienced, and we've been inseparable since. That was over a year ago.

Turns out those amazing blue eyes were just contacts, and he was rude because he thought I was really cute and older than him (I'm 2 months younger) and I made him nervous. I love him :)

Well I made out with his friend W. at a party, and the next week at school W. introduced me to my now boyfriend. I knew him for 6 months before I realized that he was much cooler than W.; who was sort of a jerk. He asked me to semi-formal and we've been together for a year and half now.

well i met my ex at theatre school. She liked me so she looked me up, we got to talking and then started going out.

I was best friends with a hot ass chick, who is one of the coolest people I have ever met, but she had lame boyfriend. I wanted try and date her, so when we went out to a club together (with one of my friends from work, and one of hers), I made a slight move, but she wanted to be faithful to her bf, so I let off. And wound up on her couch with the random friend she brought... and we wound up dating for close to a year.

We first met when we were 15. I thought he was hot and we had some mutual friends, so someone gave me his email address and we talked on MSN. We ended up hanging out a few times, but we were both shy so it never really went anywhere. We kind of kept in touch (random phone calls a couple times a year) but I never hung out with him after highschool cause I thought he was super sexy, but I had a boyfriend at the time, so I knew that wasn't a good idea.

Last summer he randomly texted me asking if I wanted to be his date at his cousin's wedding. I was single so I accepted the invitation, happy that I finally had the chance to fuck this guy I'd wanted to fuck since highschool. A week before the wedding we went to a party together and I ended up having an amazing time. We've been inseperable since. :)

Whats a girlfriend?

I met my current bloke on the internet about 6 years ago.... faceparty or something equally as sad. I spent about 3 years being a total total bitch to him and having a go at him for pretty much everything he said to me because I was a mental drug addict at the time and I needed someone to take shit out on.

Then I started being a bit nicer to him and we became very very good friends, he was totally in love with me but I never felt anything more than friendship towards him. Then about 6 months ago I started to have feelings for him but I didn't want to rush into anything because I had to be sure because I didn't want to ruin our friendship. Then 3 weeks ago he stayed at my house and I couldn't help myself so I shagged him.
