Default Odd life situation.

I'm hopelessly attracted to this awesome girl. She has it all, a cute smile, a sweet kiddish personality, and a beautiful body. She laughs at all my stupid jokes, lights up whenever I'm around, and is just easy to talk to! Heck, why should all this be a problem? It isn't at all, the big barrier here is...

She's my best friend's sister. The only time I ever see her is when I'm with my friend. It would be easy if he were just overprotective of her, but it's just the opposite. He hates her! I mean, if I told him I liked his sister, he would think either I'm joking or that I'm the strangest thing on the planet. Even if I did work out, hanging out with both of them would be incredibly difficult.

I make it sound like a big deal, and I know the solutions are obvious, but it just seems so daunting at the moment. I'll probably end up going over and telling him. Or maybe I'll call. Or should I tell her first? It feels like time moves slower and nothing happens in life the longer I hold this off.

Oh well, I'll get over it... :(

If you decide to do this, tell her first. It's best to work your way up. The problem here is her brother, not her. So ask her, she says yes, then tell him. I mean, if you tell him you like her, and then tell her and she doesn't like you....well, yeah. Not worth it.

That's my two cents.

That's what I was thinking, but I came up on a snag. I have no way to contact her other than through my friend. I have no cell number, no screen name, and I can't exactly ring up my friend and ask for his sister (I mean, I could, but then I think he might catch on). If I try to tell her first, he'll most likely be in earshot, which means I'll be telling them both at the same time, and that I REALLY want to avoid.

I still agree that I should tell her first, so what I'll probably end up doing is asking her for a cell number or a screen name. My friend will get suspicious, but meh.

There are ways to get contact info. Myspace, facebook, through their friends, etc.

Yeah man...Sort it out with her first...See how she feels about this. It's all well and good letting her brother know only to find out she doesn't like you in that way.

So tell her first, get her input...If it's positive, go for the brother and let him know that no matter how weird it is, you like his sister and wanna fuc...Go out with her.

And hurry the fuck up about it.

All the best.

If you're all sitting in the living room watching tv or something, wait until your friend gets up to get a drink, or his sister (one of them has to eventually). If it's your friend, ask her while he's gone, if its his sister, follow her into the kitchen saying "yeah, I'm going to get one too" if she states that she's going to get a drink. Theres a bunch of little things you have to look out for, I'm sure you can find two seconds where you can be alone and you can ask her for a cell number or something. If not, like you said, just do it in front of him. It will be weird, but it's better than not seeing if she likes you.

I've been there. I also waited too long, and lost the opportunity to do shit about it.
I've made a point of not regretting anything I've done, but this one still gets to me.

Point being, do something, and don't be a fucking moron like myself.

Fuck.

FUCK.

If you said my sister was hot I would straight up break your fucking nose flat against your face. That's including any of my friends.

Tread lightly, some brothers don't appreciate it, it's your call though.

Hot.
Perhaps you could get her interested in Magic? It's an awesome game and addictive. You could suck her into the game and then trick her into loving you by giving her rares and foil cards..

On a serious note, it's going to be tricky. Even a brother who hates his sister generally has a part of him that will want to protect her.

I really really liked one of my own brothers friends once. I should have done something about it, but I was so scared of fucking up my brothers friendship with the guy I didnt do anything. Wish I had.

Take it easy, but do it soon. And prepare for a stomping if you hurt her, I guess. :S

Could happen, though I doubt it. I mean, it's what most brothers do (Hell, I'd probably do that if he wanted to date my sister, but only because I know what a weird fuck he is.). However, judging from her past boyfriends, he just doesn't care what she does.

I'd be more afraid of a beating from her current three suitors, all of whom are CRAZY about her (Lucky for me, she hates all three of them.). They're runty little freshmen, and I doubt they'll do anything, but I wouldn't be surprised if I receive some hostility.

I'm more worried that my friend will think differently of me. He's a good friend, and he won't, but I'm more afraid because I have NO idea what his reaction will be. People fear what they don't know, and I'm a people. :p

I'm over reacting/ making way to huge a deal of the situation, so I'm just gonna call her up tonight and ask for her cell or screen name or whatever. Just have to think of some bullshit to tell my friend to get him to hand over the phone.

Meh, I'll keep you posted Totse.

To conclude our saga...

My friend called last night to see if I was coming to pick him up in the morning, I told him I still was. I ask if his sister is still riding with us, he asks. She says in a disgusted tone, "Ugh, I don't wanna ride in (Me)s car!" She's never seen the car. A little crushed, I go to sleep.

This morning, I wake up. At the agreed time, I go to pick him up. The brakes on my shit ass car fail and I rear end the Mercedes in front of me at an intersection on the way to school. At this point, I notice I've forgotten my wallet with my license at home.

Luckily, all his car had on it were some scratches on the bumper and he didn't bring the police in. I'll be paying him out of pocket so my insurance doesn't skyrocket. I'm out my car and my hopes/dreams.

I'm ok, I just hurt my faith in my own existence. :(
