social and antisocial people dating
Okay. So I figured out my problem. This girl and I are both antisocial-ish people. We're introverted, at least, and don't like hanging out with people very often. I'm still out just about every night with friends, and I have no problem talking to strangers, and if I'm interested in a topic I can carry on good conversations with most anyone. She's the same way. She's very... charming... in girlish way. Great, recognizable laugh, always smiling, very friendly. We both get along with people.
But for some reason, as soon as she's off socializing with other people, I don't know what to do. I'm fine when she's not around. I'm fine when she's with me. But when we're in the same location but only within eyes' reach of each other, my social skills get demolished. I lose interest in any conversation, I get upset, and I can't really maintain any sort of genuine happiness and it's obvious. And then I'll be fine again when we're back together. And then sometimes I'll just end up thinking about it excessively for 3 days and won't really feel like going out very much, and then we'll hang out again and I'll realize, again, that I'm an idiot and worry about stupid shit when it comes to relationships. It doesn't even make sense. I'm laid back as hell about everything else in life... just... fucking girls that I fall in love with.
How can I solidify some sort of rationalization that this shit doesn't matter and everything's going to be fine. Because I know that's how it is... I just can't stop thinking and feeling like it wont' be.

So are you trying to say you get jealous when you see her talking to other people or what? Like when your only in eye-reach with her you lose all your social skills and shit because your thinking about what SHES doing or what? I dont get it.

i just worry too much. it's not even like i have a fucking reason to. the girl is head over heels in love with me. everybody knows it. so i don't understand why i can't firmly grasp what that means.

Re: social and antisocial people dating
Sounds to me like you're too insecure with yourself so it's hard for you to believe that a girl would like/want you that much. You're mind is making shit up and thinking shit like "oh she's got better stuff to do than be with me, those people shes talking to are better than me, she likes those people better than me, etc."
I know this is easier said than done but just be assertive when it comes to shit like that. Maybe try walking up to her when shes with those people and show them who the real boyfriend is. It will kill any thoughts the guy she's talking to has about getting in her pants, and it will also make you feel more confident at the same time. Also, it shows her, you, and whoever she's talking to that you're not some pussy that's gonna stand back and watch as she blabs her mouth off to whoever she's around at the time, even if it is just one of her friends or something.
If you act confident and assertive enough, you will become confident and assertive. All it takes is consistency and the belief that your no less of a person than the people around you.:)
It's not easy, but if done right worth it.

That's it? Why did you explain it in such a convoluted, retarded way? You're a paranoid boyfriend due to insecurity, just don't get carried away and damage shit...nothin groundbreaking goin on here.

It get's easier. It's just something you need to become more comfortable. There's nothing you can really do, per se, but it will get easier with experience.

The insecurity stems from these mindfucks I've had before going to sleep for the past year or so. I know myself too well. I've come to understand all of my defense mechanisms, my disgustingly selfish and human tendencies, etc. I view myself scientifically while i view the rest of the world humanely. It's made me hate myself for things I shouldn't hate myself for. It's probably drugs, actually.
But here's the thing. No there's no thing. I think I just need to step on top of all this shit and be a man. Motherfuckin' Captain Morgan.
