When my girlfriend and I argue we never stay mad at eachother. 3 nights ago she gets mad at me because I want to go out. I NEVER GO OUT. By out I mean going to a friends house who just got back from Chicago. I let her go to Florida and I don't say a word but the moment I want to do something she freaks out. Then she tries to make it seem like it's my fault.

Anyway. I go anyway. She calls my phone nonstop. Then she calls and says "I'm turning off your phone. I'm done with you." When we get mad we always say "i dont wanna be with you anymore" and sometimes she says she is going to turn off my phone. This time, she actually did because I tried to call my friend and let him know that we were there and I couldn't get through.

"You must dial from a land line because you're call cannot be complete with this phone."

See, when we first got together I didn't have credit so she signed for the phone. It's in her name but I pay the bill. Same thing with the car. She signed for the car as a co signer but I pay the bill.

SHE TURNS MY PHONE OFF! She is so childish sometimes. Everything has to go her way. So I stay out later. I was going to come home at 10PM just to make her happy but I decide to stay until 12AM. I left at 8PM. I haven't seen this guy in 2 years. I wanted to smoke some fucking weed with him for crying out loud and I did.

Plus, I think a friend of mine is pissed at me because he says I'm whipped. He doesn't understand that I love her. He thinks in a relationship you can still do whatever you want because that is what he would do. How would that work? You guys would be pissed at eachother every waking moment. She listens to me and I listen to her. I think he just wants in her pants.

So I come home. We fight. The usual. Then we make up. Like, we can't help but talk to eachother and make up. Of course there was no make up sex because WE NEVER HAVE SEX but she let me titty fuck her.

I'm wondering. Next time we fight should I stay mad at her longer? I was going to sleep at my moms house that night but I know she would have been more pissed. Is that what I need to do next time? Stand up for myself and say "NO. I'm pissed at you because you never want me to do ANYTHING. I'm staying at my moms until I cool off." Or something along that line?

How long do you people stay mad at eachother? And I didn't intend for this to get long but as I typed I just wanted to put more information in there and it just seems long because I've been typing for a minute.

Well, I've been together with my current girlfriend for around 5 months. The longest(and only) fight we had was for a week.

I usually make up with my fiance before I fall asleep. I don't like to let things fester. Sometimes it can take a few days before we completely resolve the problem.

No. It's not that I don't do what I want to do. I do. That particular night she didn't want me to go somehwere. I went. Isn't leaving someone because of sex pretty shallow? There aren't too many good girls around in this town and I've probably fucked a lot of them or previously tried to get with them. A small town I live in. Nothing but whores and undercover whores. My girl is good.

I'm done with fucking random girls. I've done that. I want a good relationship.

Life is way to short to worry about that shit. Honestly, if you cant leave for more then a couple of hours to see your freind that lives far away, you need to tell her ass to get a life. I understand your in love, but your not her bitch and shes needs to know that...unless you like being her little bitch.

Staying mad at her wont help anything either. If anything it will make things worst. I would just tell her straight up that you have a life outside of her, and she could deal with it, or find some other guy to suck the life out of.

I say all of this from experience. I was with a girl like that for years, and when I look back at it I feel stupid for letting her walk on me. It was my first love and I basically felt the same way you described yourself feeling. Never again though. Like I said, life is to fucking short man.

I'd say that the first step is to get a phone in your name that she can't turn off. When you remove bits of her power, it will destabilize her and help you more than just fighting would. Just take her power away.

Edit, and just because you want a real relationship, doesent mean it has to be with her.
