if you prune the inactive and unnecessary mods, how about appointing maybe 2 new supermods (NB not Forum Admins) ?

Might that allow you to cut the top heavy over modded forums without worries (on our part) about possible loss of 'coverage'?

And , before anyone says it, i am not hinting at myself getting thejob...you all know who I think should be a supermod.

Acidmelt and I actually talked about that recently. The thing of it is, we can make people moderators, but not super moderators. So if AM and I can decide on a person, I wouldn't mind it, but we'd have to make Jeff do it for us.

If this were to happen, I'd like to see someone like Meta or XiP get the position.

As much as I like Xip, he's yet to return unless I missed something.

Well yeah, utterly inactive mods who have absolutly no interest or respectr for totse anymore can be pruned, but it sounded like people were suggesting cropping and merging forums and removing active mods.

Well if someone is made a Super-Duper mod then they'd be removed as mod of their current forums....at least thats my thinking.

I know my forum has 1 inactive mod :(. I wonder where she went to? In my opinion and request, I would like her to be removed although she is a friend to me... I have a contender lined up for her. Very contributing, very qualified.
