Am I in the wrong? (long)
I dated this girl, K, for 3 months a year and half ago, and after breaking up we still kinda fooled around and stuff, standard friends with benefits situation.
Fast forward to early August, i go back home, and me and her rent a hotel for a night to fool around and stuff, so we do, but we don't have sex or anything, everything is decent. Later that week, i screwed up and something i shouldn't have about one of my ex-girlfriends. She gets pissed and ends the whole friends with benefits thing. Which was fine with me, I've been trying to get away from it anyways.
So over the next couple of weeks we talk some more and she doesn't hate me any more which is good. Last week one of the girls, C, i know from school starts talking to me and we kind of plan a date.
I happen to mention it to K that i had a date, and she goes ape shit on me. Pretty much piss her off again. And I'm talking to her tonight, and we have this kind of sarcastic conversation about how I don't like girls from my home town and stuff, joking and then she gets all serious on me, asking why C was better then K and all that. And she told me that she was glad she didn't have sex with me because she would have been livid as well as feeling used and disrespected.
What I don't get what the big deal is. She told me that that part of our relationship was done, and I know she would have had no qualms about dating another guy, but the moment I get a date, I'm the bad guy? I know she was looking for a guy to date, and its just dumb that I'm the bad guy because i got to it first.
/rant
So am I in the wrong for accepting an invitation to go on a date with a different girl?

Re: Am I in the wrong? (long)
i'm sure it's probably a blow to her ego and self-esteem but from what i've read i don't really think you're in the wrong. it's hard to be rational when you feel discarded, even if you were the one who ended it in the first place. i think that's what she's going through...you know, being a crazy female too. she's probably throwing "i'm glad we didn't have sex" back at you to sort of defend herself in a weird way.
anyway, you're not an awful person, carry on.

Re: Am I in the wrong? (long)
Well im glad we didn't have sex either, i posed the question to her that night, but I had had second thoughts about it too, and I don't know if I would have gone through with it.
Its just frustrating because things are actually starting to go good and she makes me feel like I am a giant douche bag. Anyways thanks for the input.

Re: Am I in the wrong? (long)
Yep, I pretty much agree with what YouLookFourteen said. If you're not in any kind of relationship with this "K" girl, then you certainly don't owe her anything, and you're doing to logical thing and moving on. Don't worry, you're not a big douchebag; she's just being a crazy female, good luck with the new girl.

I've been in almost exactly your situation. Morally, you're in the clear.

Re: Am I in the wrong? (long)
when it's so soon after a relationship (the screwing around is still a relationship), it's tough to see the other person get over it before you do. but you're completely in the clear.

Re: Am I in the wrong? (long)
What the fuck?
If you and the first girl are in a 'friends with benefits' situation she has no fucking right to get pissed or say she feels 'used' by you, because there's not meant to be anything more than sex to your relationship!!
Slap the cunt, tell her to wake the fuck up, and get herself a bloke who wants to be in relationship, because clearly she's very confused if she thinks that as a fuckbuddy you're meant to do stuff with her, or you're somehow obligated to date her.
Move on, enjoy the new girl, but if you like this one you've arranged a date with at all, keep far away from the 'fuck buddy'.

Bah, I started a new school 2 weeks ago.
And there is fucking NO drama!!!
No intruige, no backtalk, nothing.
It's fucking boring...
But really, K still has feelings for you, thats how it goes in relatioships.
If you want a girl to fall in love with you, then you just have to want her less than she wants you.
The person who wants it more is the powerless one in a relationship.
But then of course, once the girl falls in love with you, you have hard time falling for her.
Sending you spiralling into a depression because life is uncruel and because you can probably never find anyone that will truly love you as much as you love them.
