Default The Futures Looking...Good?

Not sure where to put this thread, so I thought to give S&A a try. Be warned though, this is going to be pretty long. Skip to the bottom if you don't want to read.

Anyways, to make things clear, heres a brief history of how I live.

I moved to Canada when I was 2 from the West Indies/South America. Not much to say there, as Kindergarten was a blur, but from grades 1-6, that was probably the main years that has shaped me for who I am. I grew up in a school where our pass time was fighting. I got suspended for my 4th time in grade 6, so my parents decided to move. I ended up living in this real white washed, suburban area. Things were a bit rough in the beginning, as I could not accept the fact that I was in this kind of region, so I tried to start fights, make mischief, and cause havoc. To my surprise, everyone disrespected me because I was different. After I realized that, I started to calm down, and started to learn about myself by the time I reached 11 or 12. I learned that I don't need to stand out, and grab attention. I decided that I should just accept what Im in and just go through it.

It was pretty boring for me in grades 7 and 8, I had only one good friend that I could trust, because he knew about the life I used to be in.

By the time I graduated from elementary, summer started to get more live. I got more freedom now since my parents finally trusted me after such a chaotic pass, so they let me go out more. I got involved into marijuana, and met a jewish girl at a party (Shut up), and we instantly hit it off. We hung out mostly through the summer, and eventually started going out when High school started, I also started "Dealing" at this point. Half way through 1st semester, I realized that my girl was cheating on me, robbing me, and spreading nasty rumors about me. I confronted her and we eventually broke up. She did some horrible things after that (which would take up too much room to state), which sent me into an even bigger rage.

I found the guy that she was cheating with, and beat him up with my best friend. Things started to go down hill from there. My best friend and I got caught for beating up the guy, and got suspended. By the time I came back from my suspension, I had realized that my best friend has been sent to live with his mom, and my ex switched to a private school in order to concentrate more on her school work. Now I was alone. I had the image of a drug dealer in front of most of the people in my school, and they were horribly disgusted by it, and never even gave an effort to be friends with me. By the time second semester rolled by, I asked my parents if I could switch schools. They happily obliged.

We moved to the city beside my old one, and I basically started high school fresh. I learned that my dad was heavily involved in marijuana, which made me disrespect him alot, so I decided to stop dealing and get off the weed for good. I started concentrating in school, not giving the slightest concern with girls, while having a small group of friends that I never told anything about my past. I started to trust them more, and by the time summer came, I slowly started unfolding my past to them. One of them basically had the same issues, so we became good friends.

Grade 10 rolled around, and things started to look more live. I met this Tamil kid in my auto class, and we came from the same area. I started chilling with him more, breaking off from the main group, he thought the same way as I did, that were different, ha ha. He introduced me to one of his best friends, whom was white, and we met this black guy who also was "different". By the time the end of grade 10, all four of us would do everything together. We would call ourselves The Original Four, ha ha ha... May sound corny, but its worth it.

Summer passed by, and we would spend as much time as we would with each other. I was still good friends with the original group I was with when I came, but not as good as the original 4. Grade 11 came by, which was pretty simple for the first semester. Second semester came by, and my friends convinced me that I should start "chopping" girls. I did so. At first I started slow, but I started expanding my game. Summer came by (This summer) and I attended summer school, I decided to try out my new found skills. In less than 2 weeks, I was in a girls house getting...Intimate.

Alright, now for the important bits. For those that didn't want to read, stop here. The point of all that crap is that, well I just wanted to get it off my chest...

Anyways, by the time summer school ended, I decided to just chill and take it easy this summer, decide what I want to do for my last year of high school. I decided that I would obviously get more involved with girls, (As most of you would see in my "Schools Starting Back Soon" thread), and I would start getting more involved with money. I gained alot of respect back for my dad, and I started understanding his and our life more accurately. He started a new Business Front that would "shell" over his other operations, which is completely legit, so he decided to give me a job there. Now getting paid 12 dollars an hour...Pretty decent for my first job. Now, I want to start a marijuana operation, but a heavy one. I'm more knowledgeable this time, and I haven't smoked for nearly 3 years now, so its all for cash (This is why I wasn't sure where to post this).

So now I basically have 3 things on my mind to apply for the last year of high school, which are flexing girls, half-way run my dads Business front, and starting up the marijuana operation. I want to know if this would work and whatnot. It may sound it defiantly won't work, but I'm a smart man, and through the years, I've learned more about who I am. All I want is your opinion on this. See what you might think can come of this.

Whew, I feel good now. Hope someone actually reads all of this heh.

....So, you've had a less than legitimate past which lead to a somewhat isolated highschool 4 year career, which I can understand. Fuck 'em, and who doesn't want to be scarface, right? And scarface was right, actually, people really do need somebody to point the finger at and say *THAT'S the bad guy.

The problem is that most movies are a farce (though people really do need somebody to point the finger at and say that's the bad guy), but more importantly you're talking about the last year of highschool.

I can't think of many dealers of anything that made it through highschool in any fashion that most people would consider a life. Regardless of how knowledgable they were. Consider it this way: pot doesn't garner a great deal of cash flow, eventually you go for kind bud which becomes 50 bucks an eighth. With this position you start to realise that coke dealers get 50 bucks a gram. 3.5 grams an eighth and the metric system or powder starts to become more than tempting, etc. etc. etc. etc. starts to show that you don't know shit right now, and you're just a 17 year old know-fuckin'-nothin' who wants to be something.

Get an education, kid, I've seen too many people die, and not enough people make fuck-all out of their lives to recommend what you're talking about.

Heh, I thank you for your honesty. Let me try to make this more clear though. If I did all the things you stated, it would feel like a lie that I'm trying to live. No one can block out the past fully, so thats why I'm going to use it. I thought that my childhood was a very bad thing. Then I started realizing that I can use it to my advantage. I enjoy your thought about how people need to point out and say who the bad guy is. I don't want that image though, I just want people to see me as someone else just trying to make it out in this world, but that probably won't happen.

Thats why I asked if getting a girl, making legit cash, and running a marijuana operation could work. Obviously it sounds like the worst idea known to mankind, but I'm not just some 17 year old know-fuckin'-nothin' kid that thinks he has no future, or some wannabe gangster that knows absolutely nothing about marijuana except smoking it. I'm more, complex than that, in my opinion.

I could have a bright future, goto college, get employed into a high paying job, get married to a loving wife, buy a house with a white picket fence, and have 2 beautiful daughters as children. Well I don't want that. I want to live more enthusiastically, by giving pride into the things that I'm actually good at, and from my original post, it states them quite well. So before you really judge me, remember its not that I can't have a decent future, I just don't want to.

Oh, and for the marijuana, thats just an idea. It seems simple enough for me to build something off of. I won't put my whole life into it right now, its just something for me to make a little cash. So if it goes well, then I'll look for somethings thats more, heavy.

Stupid shit.

I had a cousin that decided he would run marijuana. Its a felony. That means state prisons, long sentences, criminal record, no leaving the country, etc. I know its just weed but the police can search you at anytime and bust your ass. Someone says "that guy sells weed" because they don't like you or they want a lighter sentence or something and its mroe than enough to get a warrant.

Even without a warrant they can show up, say you smell like weed (even if you don't) and search you. Its fucking stupid to get involved in dealing when you aren't protected properly by the law.

Risk is far greater than paranoia.
