Over the past few nights I have been having sex dreams with this girl I used to be really good friends with.Her name is Taylor But that changed after she went out with my cousin and then dumped him for a chick... I know thats pretty sad but yes for a chick. Ill explain the only 2 that I can remember very clearly...

The first dream....
My cousin was having a party, yes the one she dumped, and everyone was invited to it. All of my friends and all of his friends and other peoples friends, big ass party. So anyway, there was a lot of booze and when I saw Taylor we just started talking, having a few drinks and just chilling. A little later into the night we started to hook up and just start to mess around a little bit. I tell her I'll be right back because I was going to talk to my cousin. I'm talking to my cousin and I don't have a clue what it was about when Taylor comes a long. She whispers into my ear,"C'mon lets go have some fun." She just grabbed my wrist and brought me into the room and I woke up.

Im thinking that going into this room she was going to either Kill me or Fuck me. One or the other.

The second dream...
I was in this strange world and Taylor was there with one of her best friends whom I went out with before. There was a river and we decided to go for a swim. We randomly pull out some bathing suits and get changed and go swimming. Me and her best friend get out but Taylor isn't. We see her struggling to get back onto the land so I jump in and save her. She is breathing very very heavily so I tell her to take off her top and I give her CPR even though shes still breathing. I guess that was to just give her air. Her friend walks off to somewhere and starts talking to this random person. Taylor doesn't put her top back on and brings me over to somewhere this time I'm staying asleep. So we get to this place and she starts putting her boobs all in my face and shit and rubbing against my body and I notice shes getting very horny from this. I say to her,"If your a lesbian why are you getting so horny?" She just answers with, "I don't know, lets find out." So she pushes me over and I woke up.

When I woke up I had a raging boner. It was the biggest morning wood I have ever had when I have woken up before.

Is this a sign of something? I mean I don't mind these things but we got into a big fight and we haven't talked again. I haven't talked to her in about 2 years. Is this a sign that I am becoming attracted to her, or am I just having a relapse or something?

Also, should I tell her about this or should I leave it to myself?

I wouldn't say that it means anything in particular imo, it just means something your subconscious is picking up is reminding you of her in some way. It doesn't necessarily mean attraction, but it doesn't mean you're not.

Best laugh I've had all day. And that's good, considering that I'm not all that happy about driving back to college to be reacquainted with my General Psychology professor tomorrow.

Anyway, let me offer a quick hypothesis/evaluation using my psychiatric training.

1). The reason we dream has not been fully been determined yet. However, there are several leading theories on this matter. One of the top two is that during the sleep state (in deep theta), the subconscious mind communicates with the conscious mind. In doing so, all of your primitive and repressed thoughts are communicated to your consciousness in the form of dreams.

Basing my evaluation on this theory, I would assume that there is some part of you, deep in your mind, that lusts for this "Taylor" character.

However, if you're looking for some "out of the box" (or in other words, "metaphysical") thinking on this matter, I suggest posting this question in "The Science of the Damned."

Reborn thief i think the best person to tell you more about this would be a hypnotist. I'm guessing that he could place you in a trance and ask you questions and such which, your right brain will then be active. Rather than trying to decode it from a dream.

No. If you're talking about Freud's Seduction Theory, that has more to do with later-in-life social problems being caused by the untimely introduction of sex into a child's world. I think that it was finally denounced by Freud himself, but I can't remember. It was touched upon in a Criminology class I took.

Anyway, the theory I'm talking about is touched on in the Continual-Activation Theory by Jie Zhang. It has to do with short-term memory being transferred into long-term memory. During this process, parts of the brain that usually remain separate (not just the Right and Left brain, because they communicate quite often) are communicating with each other. The transfer of memory that occurs is hypothesized to cause a sort of "scanning" of old neurons, resulting in a random firing of past experiences. This, is what we call dreams.

However, Zhang (and others) says that there may actually be a touch of consciousness during REM (explaining phenomena like lucid dreams) which may cause repressed memories and desires to appear in our dreams.
