Default Dont Screw the Crew ...

After my mate f and a hooked up for a night we all adopted this phrase "dont scew the crew" , well its a hard thing to do let me set the scene for you ...

I have a really cool mate "M" we have been real good friends for 7 months or so . She has a four year old kid and a fiancee (its sounding like a car crash already isn't it lol) After a huge argument her fiancee took her daughter and locked her out the house saying he would never let her see her daughter. She took a broken bottle a cut her wrists. I saw her walking up the road with blood dripping through her hands and tears in her eyes. She wasn't hysterical . But i rang her father got her to the hospital gave her 100 dollars for the medical care. rang her in the morning and she was a lot better ,sober and all stitched up , she was really embarassed over cutting herself.

but over the weeks she really needed someone around and i was there for her . I really cared about her. And after copious amounts of marijuana we ... well you know "got together duing the night" . I was saving money for her to get a family lawyer to get custody. The kid and crazy ex fiancee couldnt scare me away i just wanted her. She kept saying friends with benefits. Ths is the holy grail of male relationships even though i didn't like the idea of her sleeping with others (yeah im greedy and possesive i know) . But one night she rolled over to me and explained that she would be heartbroken if i brought someone else home and i told her thats how i had always felt. We hugged and said no more...

a day later i woke up late to find myself alone. I thought nothing of it. In the mornign i rang her.

"hey where are you, its like 10am you really partied hard last night"

then a response that made my stomach tighten:

"Oh i went to visit my finacee and daughter last night"

I felt so used , but luckily living with girls you get a lot more emotional understanding so i got wankered obviously. 11pm rolled around i was hammered and the girls had some friends round so i was in my room alone drinking and smoking pot. "M" walks through the door . Happy as anything asks if i have any weed. I was heartbroken she didn't even ask how i was . I pulled the crumpled bag out of my pocket and gave it to her. I couldn't think of any emotions that i should be feeling so i just kept a motionless expression and watched her pick up some of her clothes take my weed. She yelled goodbye and slammed the old door. And that door i dont think i could open again if i tried.

She is on holiday with her fiancee and daughter. Im home with the flu and no-money. So just so all of you guys know the rule "dont screw the crew" is a pretty important one. I am mourning a relationship that i really wasn't meant to have. I left her a letter on her mirror packed my things and left a large piece of myself with her. I haven't told her how upset she made me as i dont think its right. I told her to go on and live her life. At the end of the day her daughters happiness is her priority.

Its hard to say goodbye to something when you are as selfish as me, Why does the heart always want what it could never get.

yeah , people all need crutches you know. I guess she needed that love as self validation . Know that she wont be alone if she choses to go her own way.

I have to admit i am really taken back with the maturity of responses .Cheers guys. This is totse it has somewhat of a reputation

Yup, men would never, ever do anything like that. That's why there are absolutely no single mothers in this world.

You shouldn't have given her the extra weed. Then again you were in a bad state.

I'd break of communications with her considering she toyed with you for a little secret payback.

remember kids, crack is whack!

To the OP, that really is a terrible situation man. She was obviously in a terrible state of mind, and as such she probably didn't realize the harm she was causing you. It's good that you've learned from the experience, and if anything it builds your character. You know that you did the right thing and that's integrity, which is way more important than any relationship.

You got a good head on your shoulders from the sounds of it, time to move on. Maybe even use your little sob story to your benefit and snatch up some hot sympathetic booty while you're at it ;) haha, cheers bud, good luck!

I just gotta ask......

If you got involved with another woman some day and she did something even WORSE (like stand you up at the altar or some other shit).......would you just hand over a duffelbag filled with ganja in your depressed state if she came around to pick up some loose ends?

Seriously......WHY in god's name would you just GIVE someone that fucked you over your sack of weed???????

Well? There are those who would say he was a deluded fool & a loser for getting involved in their relationship? That he was nuts to put himself in that position?

Was he her only friend? Had she no relatives?

So? She used the loser. What suprise there?

Fuck no mate! You went out of your way to help a friend and she repaid you with lies and betrayal!
That's fucking wrong.

I don't care if she's got a fiance or a kid...You gave her a place to crash, you gave her your weed, your money and your heart and she just strolls in when it's done and fixed like nothing ever fucking happened!

I would seriously consider some payback dude...Black ops while they're away (nick some stuff to get the money back) and maybe leave some dog shit under the pillow (or even more bitchy, inside the pillow case...Imagine how it would feel to rest your head on dog crap!)

You are a bloody good person...Don't let anyone ever tell you different.

Do you know how many times chicks smoke my weed, I fuck them then don't make a point of talking to unless I want something or they want something? It's pretty much all I'm good at! That shit happens all the time. She's got a kid too which she of course is gonna want to see. She played you and you definately SHOULD HAVE SEEN THAT COMING YOU DUMB FUCK!

I can't believe you didn't see that coming. Time to learn some lessons in how the rules of the game are played and the parameters. You suck man you gotta be 2 steps ahead of chicks and not let all that smoke cloud your judgement (let it cloud hers which was clear enough to take advantage of ya). Oh well, chalk it up as a learning experience and if you wanna piss off her fiancee tell him the whole story.

Get involved with a cuttin' Drama Queen?

Don't be suprised if you get cut too...

KnowhatImean?

Psycho8, are you saying you've never heard cops say they hate getting involved in domestics? Are you saying you're so naive that you can't list a dozen reasons why?

Or why those same reasons apply to friends & neighbors getting involved?

Eg: One stops a guy from hitting his woman. What happens? She turns & attacks you & says, "Fucker! Leave my man alone!"

She gets out of hospital, where she went for the wounds he caused? Where does she go? To him.

QFMFT!

Indeed...this broad took his semen, his pride, and his weed. What more does he have left? At this point the OP should go huff Raid, because he is done for.

She was drowning & she clutched on to him. Was she new to town? So new that he was the only one she could latch on to?

If she'd been there a long time...? Why was he the one she turned to? She burn all the others she knew already? :)

Haven had the computer in a while so i haven't been able to respond.

Yeah i can see i was used but i guess i expect too much of people . You know she asked for help with her rent just before this incident and i paid it into the landlords account. I just got caught up in it. $140 (NZD)

Sometimes you actually enjoy peoples company and blindly give them help without casting a thought to whether they are using you or not. It takes a real perception in some cases to see the way they treat you in reality.

She rang me today asking where i left her Uni books. I said i couldn't remember where i put them and she fully nutted out at me. She is on a new type of anti-depressants so i think i was blaming her behavior on that . but yeah if she needs medication for me to like her i dont think that it would have ever worked.

so yeah no weed no money no booze hah , but yeah i cant blame no-one for that.

Yeah, I hear youse dude. Real Time/Real Life is hard to process as it happens.

Though (I don't know about you?) I've often not listened to my own good advice while I'm interacting with people. When a 'little voice' says, "This is BS!"? In hindsight I look back & say to myself, "What an idiot!"

Gawd, the fucking trolls around here are really scraping the bottom of the barrel! To be a really good trolling post it has to be both short and believable. This is neither.
