My Girlfriend of almost 8 months broke up with me yesterday.
Due to drinking and smoking and that shit. I officially quit all of it and need to win her back. But, whatever I say/do she doesn't seem to care. Help me please.

If you really want to win her back you could change your lifestyle and do all that fun stuff and maybe slowly she'll see you've changed. I've had situations like that where they tell me I need to change and dump me. I then change and move on with life. They see my change and want me back. But that whole time I've moved on with my life, I haven't been fixated on them.

But honestly, best to move on. If you want to change your lifestyle, then do it, but living in the past won't help you at all.

Yeah I wrote this right after, I was in a very vulnerable (sp) state and it was because I lied to her and didn't tell her I drank/smoked. But, yeah it was my fault and we spoke today and shit. And I quit that shit, now I just have to quit cigs. But, thank you Totse.

True dat. I can always jerk it too =]. No, but I'm trying to stop smoking. I'm up to about 10 a day and I don't want to do that many. I"m just trying to bring it down a bit, I know that 10 may not be a lot to some people but I don't know. I will get through it and I know it.

I broke up with my girl of nearly two years a couple months back and the first week or so all I could think of was winning her back, how my life would be a load of shite without her in it and how I might aswell just lock myself away and never come out.

After a while it gets easier man...Go out, have a few beers (moderate drinking of course), meet new people, do new things...It's great.

Now I'm not with her, I go out with guys from work and have a blast, I have met several girls who I've had or am having fun with, I can just decide "Fuck it, I'm going out" without getting bitched at. Plenty of other little things that mean so much when you can make decisions without having to take a significant other into consideration.

But, it's not the drinking and smoking really she used to but just stopped recently and sometimes has a couple drinks.

It wasn't so much being whipped...I used to go out with friends sometimes but it was a pain when I got really fucked up and fell asleep in someone's living room then got bitched at the next day for it!

I just like the fact that I can do whatever I want whenever I want now without having to think about consequences or anyone else's feelings!
